Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★I was initially hesitant to use this app based on the reviews. But I needed a Day Pass to get to work and I didn't have cash on me; so I used the app, and it works as intended. Purchasing a ticket on this app has been a breeze for me without any issues; the only minor issue I see is once the ticket is purchased it says that it expires next year, but using the ticket shows the actual expiration date. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the app and I will be using it now when I take MTS.
4 ★The app is convenient but I think there should be a subscription option for monthly passes/ send reminders to users to inform them that their pass will soon expire. I don't think MTS would implement a system like that since they're so dependent upon passengers paying fines. What are the transit officers to do if they can't harass people on their way to-and-from work without stoping the trolley just to make sure every single passenger has a ticket..? But yeah, the app is cool though.
1 ★The app works fine but then goes to this mode after a while and there's no way out: "Please Connect to Cellular or Wifi Service" I'm obviously online to write you here, so please fix the app. I regularly use this app to store multiple tickets and get to work via the trolley and a bus, so I have to show my pass daily. It's great, when it works.
2 ★It was working perfectly on my old phone but i recently lost my phone at the La Mesa Trolley Station so i had to get a new phone. I forgot my password too so ive been trying to get this app to send my email a reset link and it wont send. It says it sent but then i check my email and its not there. Ive done this over 50 times, and reinstalled the app twice. Still have the same outcome. I dont always have cash on me so i really wish this app would work correctly
1 ★Regardless of the update, still having the "Can't connect to server" issue, while being on wifi or data. Already contacted customer service, they weren't able to do anything and admitted it was a common problem on Androids. (So why release a non-functional update?) The previous design with a bulkier UI/UX at least worked. Now I'm unable to access my bus passes.
2 ★I bought a 30 day pass on the 31st and it was only good for one day. That's $72 for one day. And now I'm having trouble getting a refund. So be sure not to buy your pass before the 1st, you have to by your monthly pass on the 1st or after. The same thing seems true for the day pass as well, can't buy a day pass ahead of time because it won't be any good 24 hours after purchase date. So in other words there are lots of problems with this app.
1 ★This app started out great. Suddenly, the bus and train animations on the ticket display stopped moving. No big deal, I thought. Now I'm being told I'm not allowed to ride the bus with the pass I just bought, or forced to buy A SECOND DAY PASS in front of the driver to prove it isnt a fake. I have reinstalled and updated the app and the problem is still happening. I rely on the bus to get to and from work, this is ridiculous.
1 ★This app won't open even though I am connected to WiFi as well as my data. It was working fine until this update. I also was having trouble checking out after selecting my tickets the blue box was frozen with no way to pay for my purchase. Please fix this bug I rely on this for my daily commute. Thank you!
1 ★Brand new MTS user. Just downloaded this app. Went to purchase a ticket the app seemed really easy to use, entered my payment option, clicked checkout, confirm and.... "we're sorry an error occurred while trying to process your billing information." So basically whatever preforms updates MTS supposedly made ended up disabling their own ability to access this new-fangled thing called "the internet"
1 ★Downloaded this to make a trip downtown since my kids have been wanting to ride it. Cannot purchase tickets, when I hit the "buy tickets" button it takes me to the "create an account" and is stuck there. Restarted app and still same issue. Just buy the tickets at the stop instead of wasting your time on here.
5 ★Makes my public transportation usage so much easier to have my bus tickets on my phone. As a senior in a wheelchair, that's important. Works great....so far.
1 ★poor app. The devs are struggling with basic usability. Since the last update, I cannot connect to their server. They tell me to "update my network settings" but dont specify exactly what to update. Does this make *any* sense? Nope. Will try to reinstall, but am definitely not confident with the support & maintenance of this app
