Fundada em 1999 , Cascavel ouvia as ondas da primeira rádio exclusivamente clássica da cidade, com a instalação dos transmissores da Cultura 104.9 FM. A antena estava localizada no bairro Alto Alegre e a emissora era conhecida pela programação repleta de músicas instrumentais, além de um amplo acervo focado na Música Popular Brasileira (MPB).Vinte anos se passaram e, após diversas reformulações técnicas e administrativas, a atual diretoria optou por uma nova segmentação artística e cultural. Isso deve-se também ao momento em que as transformações ocorrem em ritmo acachapante, devido a globalização e ao mercado extremamente competitivo.
Assim, na manhã de 14 de maio de 2020, a Rádio foi reinaugurada com uma programação focada no universo da música Gospel. O canal de comunicação abriu espaço para um universo de bênçãos: uma rádio cristã, que busca transmitir ao ouvinte uma programação de qualidade, sem bandeira ou vinculação com doutrinas religiosas, mas concentrada na Palavra e nos conceitos cristãos.
A renovação da outorga levou aproximadamente dois anos, mas chegou mantendo seu prefixo em ZYM339 e operando em 104.9Mhz. Além disso, ocorreram amplas alterações técnicas, diretivas, novo endereço de transmissão e mudança no nome que passou a ser chamada de Rádio Cultura Gospel 104 FM.
