Rutas Arab es una herramienta que permite realizar rutas por espacios naturales de Andalucía de forma completamente diferente, al proporcionar una visión didáctica de los itinerarios en la que se contemplan datos e imágenes relativas a la flora, estructuras geológicas así como puntos de interés paisajístico y ecológico. Estos itinerarios están estructurados en tramos (segmentos del recorrido) y paradas dentro de cada tramo, algunas para marcar bifurcaciones, cambios de dirección de la marcha o puntos relevantes desde el punto de vista ecológico, botánico, geológico o paisajístico. De cada tramo y parada se ofrecen imágenes que servirán de referencia para seguir correctamente la ruta.El acceso a toda la información (comunidades vegetales y rutas didácticas) se realiza desde un mapa en el que aparecen cartografiados diferentes espacios naturales de Andalucía (Parques Nacionales, Parques Naturales, Parajes Naturales y Monumentos Naturales).
Esta aplicación nos permitirá:
1. Conocer las comunidades vegetales más representativas de los diferentes espacios naturales de Andalucía.
2. Identificar mediante fotos las especies vegetales que componen dichas comunidades.
3. Realizar rutas didácticas en espacios naturales protegidos (Parques Nacionales, Naturales, parajes naturales y monumentos naturales) de Andalucía.
4. Identificar los puntos de las rutas con mayor interés ecológico, paisajístico, geológico y/o botánico.
5. Reconocer mediante fotos, la flora que podemos encontrar en los diferentes tramos y/o paradas de las rutas.
6. Identificar las formas geológicas de interés que puedan aparecer en los diferentes itinerarios propuestos.
7. Identificar y/o seleccionar las rutas según grado de dificultad y duración (también para realizar en familia) desde un punto de vista orientativo.
8. Obtener información adicional que pueda ser de interés para realizar la ruta, como necesidad de solicitar permiso a la Consejería competente, geolocalización de Centros de Visitantes de los Parques, periodo del año en el que la ruta no puede realizarse por peligro de incendios, etc.
