Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★I installed an Android powered car stereo with a terrible GPS preinstalled. I removed it and installed this one since I was already familiar with Tom Tom maps. By far the best GPS I have ever used. No wizard to drill down addresses, but the search works well. Then, I had to reset my Android to factory settings. After reinstalling, Sygic's GPS Navigation crashes at startup with no warning nor error message. Five stars all the way when it works.
1 ★Downloaded to see if there's a better navigation app than Maps. Looked pretty good until I tried navigating to a location and the app just froze. Tried to close the app but couldn't. Once I was able to get out of the app and go back in, I couldn't reopen it. Deleted the app right away. Imagine this happening on the road in an emergency situation.
5 ★I love this app! I love the lane animations, all the customization options, and overall design. Lots of cutomizations to have it guide you with the information you choose to show. I particularly love the upcoming places and distances icons as I drive on long road trips. Gas station anxiety is real and this information makes deciding to go on or not much easier. I wouldn't do road trips with any other nav app!
3 ★Great app until the premium trial runs out and you realize on-screen instructions (the bar at the top that tells you how far the next turn is, which direction it is, and what street/exit it is) is a premium-only feature. I was loving this app and not having Google track me through their maps app, but taking away the on-screen instruction bar makes driving less safe, because it forces me to instead look at the map itself and try to guesstimate the next turn. I hope this is an uncommon error.
1 ★Before the last update, everything was good. I always opened this whenever I first started my car. Now, things are terrible, making me suspect they are intentionally implemented some kind of problem to make me to buy a subscription model. If I start the app without WIFI, it does NOT get GPS for 5 to 10 min. And whenever I make a turn, this app does not detect my direction and change my direction (rotate the map) a LOT. Sometimes, even while I drive a straight road, it suddenly turn 180 degrees saying I am moving backward. At first, I thought my GPS antenna was a problem, but GPS info states I have strong GPS signals from more than 10 satellites, and all other navigation apps does not make such a problem. I think I should have never updated the app.
1 ★Six months after my first bad review: Nothing has improved. I have no idea what mapping data they are pulling from, but it can't even get my own location correct. It thinks I'm at a house number that doesn't even exist on this street plus even though the zip code matches, the town's name is wrong. Every single other map app I try can find me but this one fails miserably. How am I suppose to trust it to put me on the right roads? Will I end up going the wrong way on an exit ramp? This app appears to be designed for outside the USA. What's with the icon? It has that same Google looking confusing blue fan thing trying to indicate what direction you are facing. Is it suppose to be in front of you or behind you??? How about a simple arrow? How hard would that be? It's just as confusing as Google Map's icon. If you are in England or somewhere similar, go ahead and try this. For us American users, it's as useless as a screen door on a submarine and I'm uninstalling with extreme prejudice. WARNING! If you live within the USA, do not trust this map and certainly do not pay a dime to these guys. They don't know what they are doing. PLUS!!!! Change that damn icon and put an arrow there!
2 ★The thing I hate most about this app (and I paid for mine) is the way it re-routes. My 12 year old MIO re-routed from the point you leave the prescribed route directly to the end point which is great when you have closed roads. If you bypass a turn with this one however it will take you miles out of your way to make a U-turn so you can go back and take the same route all over again, and it will keep trying to take you back there unless you ignore it for a few miles then cancel the destination and start all over again. The distinction between the two seems minor but this has let me down numerous times. This app may be fine if you've simply missed a turn off but where I live we have two seasons.. Winter and Road Construction. If the road is closed than the road is closed.
2 ★Not very happy at the moment. I purchased the lifetime international with traffic. Voice output often strangely activates the mic of my car Bluetooth adapter, toggling it in and out of phone call mode. One road through a mid sized city is inexplicably broken into 1-2 mile segments, creating confusion. Voice direction timing was too late at least once. The lane guidance is good, one thing I do like. Please improve the voice quality at least, including road names.
1 ★I so want to give it a higher rating but can't do in all fairness. (1)Crashes frequently. (2) Doesn't have a satellite view overlay. Having satellite map overlay will allow tweaking waypoint. (3) Doesn't have street view, useful as explained in (2). It used to have Google Street view, no more. (3) Both Google and Apple Maps provide the options (2) and (3) at zero cost, compared to more than $25. They have updated map compared to Sygic's 3 times a year. Google allows offline map saving as well.
3 ★I switched to TomTom Go. I can't tell you how many times I became confused because the app tells you to go straight past an intersection, then tells you to turn left at the very next left turn. Also when passing under an overpass, it displays the road sign of that overpass even though it's not part of your route. You're just passing under so...why? There is also a persistent stability issue. I love the features and the pay models, but TomTom Go is just less confusing and less clunky.
1 ★I have lost my trust in sygic , just made a break in my trip for fuel, and then it failed to navigate correctly, have to shift to Google to complete my trip, although i was on line and maps of the area downloaded. Traveling from Wichita to Dallas. The directions visually and audio were wrong, if i would follow the instructions, it was unable to get me back on to my track.
2 ★Seems cool, but if you can understand and navigate using a top-down north oriented map, don't download this app cuz it won't give you one to save your freaking life. Which is sad, because this app looks like a pretty solid replacement for the ever more bloated Google Maps, but it only seems to care about navigating for you, and it's obviously not meant for those of us who can do it ourselves and don't need turn-by-turn directions.
