A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Good but could be better. I think the guide triangle is stupid, as it has three points so you never know which one is the one that you should follow. Also, offline maps only has one option of what kind of map, even for premium members, you should be able to choose any type of offline map, street, topographic etc, depending on your environment. Not sure if I'll renew once my subscription is over, depends on what improvements are made.
2 ★Free version is a pain to use. Paid version is kinda ok but not stable enough. I tried tracking two long hikes and both times it lost the GPS signal and stopped the log. I use other tracking and navigation apps for different sports without issue. Even if the track goes their smoothing algorithm is useless and counts the little jumps as elevation gain. This is common issue, there are tons of saved routes which shows many times more elevation gain than in reality in their database. But it's cheap.
4 ★Good app. Does what is suppose to do. I just think it should be a little light weight since it drains your phone battery very fast. There is no option to STOP recording and just use it to follow the track. Would be also really nice to change the terrain layer to something more simple. The satellite layer is very heavy and data consuming. It definitely needs improvements on the GUI interface.
2 ★Quite a nifty app. But... I have one bugbear. While looking at a specific trail or following a trail, if you touch the screen anywhere (as you do while walking), you lose the trail (yellow line), then you have to hunt the start position and click the button to see the trail again. Why would you do that? In an app that is designed to be used out and about while walking, why would you not put a safeguard!!! If I want to go back, there should be a back button in one unreachable corner and even then, I wouldn't mind confirming it. Please fix this as without it, the "follow trail" function is almost not fit for purpose. I am on a 14 day trial and will probably cancel just because of this. Also, the google maps, shows where you are and the direction you are pointing the device to. Why can't wikiloc do that? I have to keep clicking on the position button to see progress. And if you just miss the button, poof, the trail is gone :-(
5 ★I use it for discovering trails (record trails) and the GPS is very accurate considering it's used on your mobile device. You have a lot of options to set waypoints, add pictures and stuff. Basically you can build from scratch an itinerary for others to follow or for your own. Hands down, it's one of the best outdoor apps out there! Also you can download your country's offline map that works great when you're not covered by GSM signal.
5 ★If you like hiking and need suggestions for great routes at all levels of difficulty, this app and the community behind it have you covered. The app provides great real-time navigation, with excellent online and offline maps. Lt also doesn't appear to be too battery-hungry, so with a fully charged phone, you're generally good for a day's hike/cycle/whatever.
5 ★Very useful app that allows you to follow hiking tracks and save your progress. The free version doesn't include the option to see where exactly you are in the path but it offers enough features for being useful, by comparing your saved progress with the recommended path you can easily tell if you got lost somewhere along the way. The best hiking app I've used so far.
1 ★I've been using the app for more than 10 year. I like it. I would like to ask for two things: — Allow to choose the default visibility (I would like it to be always private), otherwise my friends get notifications all the time about tracks I upload to be followed. — Allow to create custom tracks, like you can do with Komoot or swisstopo. Thank you for the good work!
4 ★The idea is great, and I use the app regularly just to see where other people have gone and where the accessible paths are. The app does have some annoyances and bugs, but there is active support. I have problems planning routes, the map keeps placing blank tiles at random positions. This is being investigated. Filters should be storable. Following a trail has great ideas, like giving a sound when you go off track, which could be improved with settable sounds.
2 ★Some really annoying bugs prevent this app from being useful. -Most of the time it doesn't find my location or doesn't remember the map from last time. It starts me out in the ocean , requiring incessant zooming and scrolling to get to my real location. -search results are almost not useable, gives me the wrong bubble each time. Needs fixing before I can recommend it. Also not a fan of almost every feature bring premium. Viewranger is better in almost every way, it just has less user tracks :(
3 ★I have the paid premium subscription and seriously, a paid GPS app that doesn't support landscape mode? I use this in my sxs and have to turn my tablet sideways to fit in the holder. App doesn't rotate to landscape so everything is sideways. The app is not user friendly or intuitive. If you want to just see the map and not follow a specific route, you have to start recording a trail just to see where you are on the map. Great idea and lots of good features but the app really needs some love.
2 ★I've been using this app since March, and initially it seemed great at first, but lately it won't record any routes. Says it's recording, but when looking at the stats, they all read zero. I've had this issue on two different phones, sometimes get a message at the top saying "low GPS". I have no idea why this should be. Used in different areas of the country, with clear view of the sky, so why a GPS fix can't be obtained I don't know. I have to say, it's brilliant when it does work.
