Description

We know how tempting "just a few more minutes" can be. That's why we made an app that makes it hard to be a snoozer.

The sweet material inspired design and playful transitions engage and delight, and with the various options to create wakeup sequences you can make a morning routine to get you up and get your day started right.

You can set an alarm to require a barcode scan to turn off, or just the classic press of a button, then add a step for the alarm to open an app or website to ease you into the day with music or news.
If you're feeling more advanced, you can make a sequence, where each step can have its own turn-off requirement which puts the alarm in snooze for as long as you've defined before the next step.
Each step can start an app or webpage if you wish, or for those who go the extra mile with their tech, we have Tasker support, which really opens up what's possible.
Would you like a sequence to turn on the bedroom lights after the first step? Then ten minutes later, when you turn of the next step by scanning that shampoo bottle in your bathroom it starts your coffee brewing*

There are other smart features, like wifi-locking a sequence so you can stay the night away from home even if you didn't bring the barcode you usually scan, and muting the alarm while you're in motion so you don't wake the house on your way to that coffee.
So give it a go and leave those snoozing days behind!

*shampoo bottle and wifi-connected wall socket not included but available from third party companies.

What we use the app permissions for:

"Device & app history"
We use this to show a list of your bookmarks to choose from when you set up post-alarm actions.

"Location"
We use device location to find the nearest available weather info station.

"Photos / Media / Files"
We use this to let you select sound files from your storage to set as custom alarm sound.

"Camera / Microphone"
We use the camera for scanning alarms. We don't use the microphone, the permissions are just bundled.

"Wi-Fi connection information", "full network access" and "view network connections"
We use this for the wifi lock feature.

"Device ID & call information"
To collect information about your device for crashlogs and statistics. NOT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE. There is unfortunately no permission which allows us to collect the impersonal info that aids us in squashing bugs and improving the app without also acquiring the permission to read the full phone state. To be clear: WE DON'T USE OR COLLECT CALL INFORMATION, but access to it comes bundled with the access we need.

"disable your screen lock"
We use this so you don't have to get past the screen lock before you can turn off the alarm.

"run at startup"
When the device restarts, we need to re-register the alarms.

"pair with Bluetooth devices" and "access Bluetooth settings"
We use this for the Flic integration.

"control vibration"
We use this for vibrating alarms.

"prevent device from sleeping"
Because it would be silly if the app went to sleep while trying to stop you from doing so.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★The concept is fantastic, but if any changes need to be made to a sequence, I have to reprogram the entire sequence. Otherwise, it won't recognize the barcode for the step that was changed, leaving me to have to power down my phone.
3 ★I love this alarm and it's concept, but lately (last 2 weeks) it hasn't been going off every morning (even fiancé confirmed that it didn't go off in the morning). This is a problem, since I set the alarm in the morning to go to work! I bought a bedside alarm clock for now. I hope the developers can fix the app!
3 ★I set the first alarm in the sequence to open up Songza so I can play some music to wake up, but now the alarm page doesn't show up when the alarm goes off. This leaves me with no way to turn off the second alarm in the sequence except to turn my phone off. Wonderful concept and tool, terrible execution.
2 ★The scanning doesn't work on most days and the app would keep asking me to scan the barcode again and again and again, forever ringing off. I've tried changing the barcode, removing the alarm then adding it again as a new one, but the bug keeps occurring which is very annoying cos I need to turn off my phone to kill the alarm when it happens. The idea itself is brilliant I think, shame it's too buggy.
3 ★This alarm changed my life at first but I've now realised that (on my galaxy s6) I can just turn the alarms volume down, and I still have access to the restart/turn off options. The restart button messes with the alarm badly. Really there needs to be at least an option to disable these exterior buttons. Failing that, a way of keeping the alarm going after a restart would be good. If you're not a terrible human like me though this alarm is amazing, and the interface is beautiful.
4 ★They fixed my previous complaint, so kudos for that one. There is one thing that is still buggy though. When you set an alarm, and you configure it to 'Vibrate only', it will sometimes still ring with sound. That can be very annoying. Apart from that, great app.
3 ★Did love this app but the bar code reader constantly said I'm trying to scan the wrong bar code (which I'm not). The thing I'm most upset about tho is that now you can force close the app. This used to be impossible and meant you HAD to get up but now, I can just turn it off! Please change it back so that you can't force close it!
1 ★It used to work great, but recently the alarm hasn't been ringing at all, no matter what the settings are in the app or phone. This has happened across two devices as well. App randomly shuts down, making it a nifty, but highly unreliable app.
1 ★Set it to go off 6 days/week. It went off ONCE, then decided to turn itself off - as a result, I missed an important medical appointment. Shame as I really liked how the app works otherwise.
4 ★One thing that really doesn't seem intuitive to me is the way any newly saved alarm is turned off by default, instead of automatically turned on. When I create an alarm, I expect that I am setting it, and this seems to be the behavior for most standard alarms. This caused confusion my first time using the app, so thank goodness I had a back up alarm that wasn't through this app. To the developers: any reason why the alarm isn't on by default?
1 ★It looks nice, but interface kind of confusing since there is minimal support. Worst of all, you can just turn off the phone to get around the alarm. Might be better using tasker, but I'm just going to try a similar app.
5 ★Please add the 'ok Google' feature where I can just say wake me up in 5min and it's sets arlam for after 5 min it's already present in Google clock app
