Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Excellent
1 ★Bloody awful. It alternates between full scientific and common names, isnot alphabetical (option not available), seemingly written by apseudo-scientific prat desperate to show their cleverness, & laid out bythe design-challenged. If the aim is to educate; FAIL.
5 ★Great App. Note Black-winged Monarch pic is a museum specimen. I have uploaded three photos of the bird ... alive! Note also the sound recording for the call is nothing like the calls I heard. The Morcomb App has the correct call. Please add calls for other birds!
5 ★I haven't actually used this app. I don't really want to either. Justwanted to say that the vehemence and vitriol directed towards it bydisgruntled users is absolutely ridiculous. It's a free app aboutbirdwatching, not a mandatory service. Chill the flap out ya bunch ofcukkoos. EDIT: Just downloaded the app. It's got magpies. Seems legit.
1 ★A very terrible app developed by people who obviously know how to use itthemselves but have no concept that a beginner might be incapable ofreading the developers mind. I read "I just want to get started" and it iscompletely unhelpful. Apps developed by myopic people are all too commonI'm afraid 0/10
5 ★Wow so many birds and great descriptions, looking forward to using this asa ongoing reference.

5 ★Great
4 ★The Pied Imperial Pigeon from my knowledge is called the Torresian Imperial Pigeon. It can also be known as Nutmeg Pigeon, White Nutmeg Pigeon but a lot of people from the north of Australia just call it Torres Strait Pigeon.
5 ★Great app and a must have for birding. Highly recommended.
5 ★I love this app because I collect feathers and it helps me work out what bird the feather comes from.
