5 ★Have been using this app for a number of years & really enjoyed having wiki as its so informative, especially "points of view", so handy. The app has been fantastic until the last few weeks when everything began freezing. I found it so frustrating. Made a few wrong turns so had to revert back to the maps app. I've given the wiki app a few days "holiday" so hoping all is now OK as it's time to get back on the road.
5 ★Great app for travel. If you have a bug, search their facebook page for a fix rather than complaining about it. I'll keep using it as it works very well.
1 ★This app has gone from being a very useful go to app when looking for camping and caravan parks for over 10 years, to now being not even worth having on our phones since the forced update. Like so many other people's problems mentioned, our list is the same, slow loading, glitchy, freezes, crashes completely - and the app won't work properly on either of our phones. Hopefully you get it sorted WikiCamps, but I'm not waiting around any longer to find out.. I'm deleting the app from our devices.
2 ★App is useable but dated in design and functionality licensing model and syncing architecture is like something from the 90's. Expect to buy subscription and sync to several devices not license each device. Also no collaboration mode probably due to weird sync model. Once a trip plan is shared, that's it you have your own copy, updates from the originator or yourself are not synced and merged into a shared trip Makes it mostly useless to plan as a family Needs complete redesign for today's use
3 ★Edit: Upgraded and my trip recovered after I attempted to recreate. Sometimes a little lag but otherwise good. Great app for current info and future planning. Loved this app so much until the forced upgrade and have lost my trip, 4 weeks in, no way I can remember everywhere I recorded. Devastated. Hoping another upgrade can fix? 😔
5 ★Edit: 4/8/23 - new update in August seems to be a significant improvement to old speeds. Will update again if turns out like the previous update. Initial Post: Used to be quick and easy to use as a great resource. Despite being a few weeks since the update, it's slow to load. Frustrating to wait. The latest update has made it not worthwhile.
5 ★Wikicamps is a really good app when travelling. We have found some great spots we would never have known about. We use in conjunction with Camps Australia book.
1 ★Completely useless app, do not purchase it, google maps does better job and also for free. Not only that, if you purchased this app for android and somehow you wanna transfer your account to your new IOS you have to buy it again.
1 ★I have been using this app while travelling, and generally speaking, it performs well. It does occasionally randomly reorder entries in the trip planner. When corrected, it undoes the corrections soon after. The trip planner is thus unfit for its intended purpose, rendering the entire app untrustworthy. Pity.

1 ★What is wrong with this app now? Super slow, freezes all the time, barely responds, takes a very long time to load anything, constantly forgets I'm a paid subscriber. Have tried all kinds of fixes and nothing changes. Has turned to absolute garbage which is a real shame cause this app was a game changer for life on the road.
