本软件是基于「三元九运」、「八宅法」和「九宫飞星」这三套相当有系统的理气风水原理而设计。根据电子罗盘或输入的大门方向，程序先使用「三元九运」确定这居室的整体吉凶性质如「旺财旺丁」、「损财伤丁」等等而提供风水指数。同时程序亦以「八宅法」找出居室内之吉凶位置如「财位」、「凶位」等等，从而提供建议让用户决定室内房间及家具之最佳位置。最后本程序还使用每年的「流年飞星图」找出当年之病位、桃花位、财位及文昌位，作催财、化病、催桃花或人缘、和旺考试及读书之用，而「九宫飞星」功能是根据「玄空紫白诀」理论进一步详细地分析家居与及办公室的风水布局。
