Aplikasi sistem pelayanan statistik berbasis android pada BPS Kabupaten Asmat merupakan inovasi baru dalam diseminasi data di Kabupaten Asmat. Aplikasi ini disebut juga dengan aplikasi A-Smart (Asmat Smart atau Asmat – Siap Melayani dAta stRategis dan Terintegrasi). Aplikasi ini merupakan salah satu jawaban dari tantangan sulitnya akses pengguna data BPS untuk menjangkau BPS Kabupaten Asmat. Dengan A-Smart, konsumen data dapat lebih mudah (easier) dan lebih cepat (faster) mengakses data dan informasi statistik yang dihasilkan oleh BPS Kabupaten Asmat. Lebih mudah karena, user tidak perlu datang langsung ke BPS Kabupaten Asmat. Mereka hanya perlu mengakses aplikasi tersebut melalui play store dan meng-installnya di HP atau smartphone berbasis android yang dimilikinya maka berbagai data dan informasi statistik berada dalam genggamannya. Lebih cepat karena berbasis online, dimana aplikasi dapat diunduh melalui playstore secara online dan dapat diakses secara real time segera setelah data dan aplikasi dirilis secara resmi.Dalam aplikasi A-Smart terdapat 4 pilihan (menu) yang dapat diakses oleh semua user, yaitu menu Profil Wilayah Kabupaten Asmat, menu Kamus Indikator Statistik, menu E-Library, dan menu Data Strategis Kabupaten Asmat. Menu Profil Wilayah Kabupaten Asmat menyajikan gambaran singkat wilayah Kabupaten Asmat. Menu Kamus Indikator Statistik menyajikan konsep dan definsi setiap indikator statistik beserta rumus dan cara membaca/menganilisis indikator tersebut. Untuk memudahkan pencarian indikator, dalam kamus indikator disediakan fasilitas cari (search) “kata” atau “gabungan kata”. Menu E-Library merupakan perpustakaan digital dari setiap publikasi yang dirilis oleh BPS Kabupaten Asmat, sedangkan menu Data Strategis Kabupaten Asmat berisi data-data strategis yang sangat berguna bagi pembangunan wilayah. Semua menu pada aplikasi tersebut dapat dibaca dalam mode offline.
