The MobileLite App(1) provides wireless portable storage and file sharing for Android phones and tablets with your MobileLite Wireless Reader. Wirelessly store and share your favorite photos, videos, music and files from your SD cards, microSD cards (with adapter), USB drives and external hard drives.(2) Stream content to three friends on their own devices simultaneously. MobileLite Wireless has the ability to stay connected to the Internet while accessing and sharing your content.(3) With MobileLite Wireless you can store more of what you need with the Android device you love.Updates in this revision:

- Add F/W upgrade within the App* for MLWG2

1 ★Great Product and concept but 3rd class developers support with 3rd class app. Freezes a lot. Great product goes into vein just because of Bad App. Company must look into matter.
2 ★All the problems of other reviewers, I've wasted hours trying to get this working consistently but no good. When it works it's just ok, but mostly doesn't work, Verbatim app and device is infinitely better.
1 ★I can access the Mobilelite using file explorer which sees it as a network drive. However, the Kingston software doesn't do anything but help screens on Nexus 7, otherwise freezes. It works on my HTC One, but the Mobilelite fails to connect to my home net. Therefore, can only connect to Mobilelite OR other WiFi, not both as help describes. What a rip! Update 2/3/2017: It’s been more than a year since I was promised an update "soon". Instead, they came out with a new app that only works with their later version hardware. Bye-bye Kensington, you've lost a customer.
2 ★No music tag info. Doesn't display track pictures at moment. Looking into meta data as advised.

5 ★Kingston hardware is awesome No dought on it.... Mobile lite apps. Is ok... Don't worry we have a option... Use "ES FILE EXPLORER"... Connect hardware with LAN option.. Enjoy
3 ★Two stars less. Why don't you allow play media files through the device(phone/tablet) media players? Please increase the options, then it will be five stars.
5 ★this app works really well with the Kingston g2 but i wish the inbuilt player supported more codecs . i know you can use other players but most are rubbish . i played videos with no stutter or lag the Kingston g2 is a very impressive device but if you think about the fact that its designed for media you would think that it supported more video types like mkv ,avi etc . also i was disappointed that the player has no aspect ratio option to make videos fill the screen . maybe in a future update
2 ★Everything works just fine, except videos that are recorded with the gopro4 (not playing at all), and photo preview is not possible, if I want to copy only some of the pictures from sd card or usb flash drive I want to select only some of them, how to do that if no preview its possible before copying the pictures to the phone? Thank you. Wainting for answer.
