1 ★Until a week or two ago, Business Calendar was the best free Android calendar. But, since the latest update, it displays noisy full-screen adverts in the middle of a quiet office, and disables my Home and Back keys so that I can't stop them. This is half a step away from malware. I'm now looking for a new calendar. I think I've settled on aCalendar. It's a pity; I haven't found a replacement that's as good as Business Calendar used to be.
1 ★I used to love this calendar and used it for many years. However, over the last month I constantly keep losing new entries and repeating entries. Sometimes lost entries will reappear every few days and then they are gone again. Not to mention that when I am using the calendar large ads constantly pop up and take over phone screen. I don't know what changes were made to the most recent update but this calendar app is no longer reliable or of use. Time to find a new calendar app.😥
1 ★Downgrading to 1 star. The full screen massive ads (e.g. of casinos and slot machines?!) that started a few weeks ago are like a kick to the front of your knees in the moments that matter most. A client asks you for availability and then all of a sudden the ad takes over your screen (and plays full blast volume) and there's zero way to press the back button or disable it. It is like malware. No warning from the company that this would be happening.
2 ★This used to be a 5 star app, but lately it's started to have full screen ads. As another user noted, the ads used to be non-intrusive. Now if I put in an event, a full screen ad shows up. The only way to get rid of it is wait for it to stop playing or close down the app completely. I'm giving it a 2 stars instead of 1 because without the full screen ad, it's a great app. But I'm also deleting the app now because of ads are so intrusive now.
1 ★I used to love this app. Now, the new ads are terrible, way too long and take up the full screen. If you want to encourage your users to upgrade don't punish us, incent us. Otherwise we'll just degrade the rating of your app with our one star reviews. You should have listened to that one guy in IT who said this is a bad idea. You may drive some ad revenue but if you don't fix this it'll be the beginning of the end for your app. We won't upgrade. We will 1 star and abandon you.
5 ★I LOVE this calendar app. It's easy to use; easy to see mine and my 3 children's color-coded separate schedules on one screen in Full Month view. I love the place to type notes such as addresses or items I need to remember to bring for certain activities. I love that I can set an activity as recurring and delete just one at a time if need be due to a cancellation or whatever. I love that it syncs with Google so that if my phone is lost, damaged, changed, I can get into Google and see everything.
4 ★My favourite calendar app I've been using BC (free version with ads) for several years now and will continue to do so. I even considered buying the full version. However, and that's the reason for only 4 stars too, in recent weeks I had issues with automatically sending invitations to other participants. My experience is based on a Samsung Galaxy S9+
1 ★Last update added 30sec ads that cannot be skipped... Unacceptable for a calendar app. I'm not playing and looking to get some freeby in a game. It's a "business calendar" I want to add an appointment or check my day's schedule. What do I look like in front of a client when some game preview pops up on my phone while he's trying to give me information. Do not use this app.
1 ★Changed from five star to one star. They've added long adds to force you into their premium app that has no real advantage over the free version. I have no problem with advertisements, but these are ugly and intrusive. Not worth it. Old review: Love this app and the fact that I can have all my calendars in the same place and just activate the ones I want just with a click. Very convenient
5 ★i have used his app for about 10 years now. this app is like having a secretary/assistant. without it, I would be lost. I can have different calendars displayed, I keep track of different people and events with their own color of text so I can see at a glance what is happening a month at a time. I wish many websites on the internet were as flexible and easy to manage as this is.
2 ★Recently refuses to show any event after October in my monthly calendar. And in my daily calendar does not go beyond more than a week. There is a bug in the app. This happened after I started having trouble with deleting one event in a series of repeated weekly events. It refused to delete. So I went to the first event in the series to delete them all and enter them individually. When I deleted that one event, everything after October in the monthly view went missing. I'm super sad. This was an amazing app until yesterday.
1 ★Frankly getting f**ked off with 30 second adverts that cannot be closed down until the end. I don't mind adverts, especially on a free product, but trying to get me to install apps I don't want and forcing me to watch the advert? I'm more likely to delete THIS APP than install apps I don't want from unsafe sources. Sort it out or we say goodbye
