How to install Segway-Ninebot APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Segway-Ninebot APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

3 ★Way more confusing! I miss the old generic app
1 ★Terrible. The verification code with e-mail was never received. No, it was not in the spam. Had to fiddle until an option appeared to activate by phone number. The scooter was found but did not want to pair, simply because it was charging. No indication about that. Just a screen that said to connect by Bluetooth and push the button, which did nothing. Had to find out by myself that the scooter can not be plugged in. Then you need to watch an introduction video, but it never loads... In the end I succeeded after many trials and long waiting. I set my country and language but half of the app still displays in English, and there are even settings displayed in Chinese. No idea what these are. Trying to set an avatar never worked. I would have expected that for such an expensive scooter, supported by a brand like Segway, the app would we flawless. This feels like another cheap Chinese product that was rushed to the market. Luckily the scooter also works without the app. I will never lock the scooter with the app, because I am not sure it will also reconnect and unlock.
1 ★The app has potential, but does not work properly. When I try to track a ride, there are always connection problems and it doesn't record properly. Also, the daily report does not sync with my actual usage. Sometimes I need to restart my phone because it won't connect to scooter. China doesn't seem to care if the product works, just as long as suckers like me keeping buying.

2 ★The ride data logging is useless. It doesn't work. Most of the time it won't track at all. When it does track, it doesn't track location. The data it will record will be incorrect (5mph top speed when you are riding full out). It's difficult and ugly to use as well. At least it updates the firmware and changes the settings.
1 ★Hopeless, won't even allow to register!
3 ★Customer support indicated that the app will not save the log for a ride if at any point during the ride, the internet connection is interrupted. If the cellular reception is spotty in the areas you ride, it will apparently wipe out any recorded data from the ride if you don't save it before losing internet. Not conducive to reliability with that setup.
3 ★The app is generally ok. Have used it for the last few months without any major issues. Recently (last couple of weeks), however, it has been impossible to record a ride. At the end of the ride the app seems to think the scooter has not moved from its origin and therefor does not record log the data for that ride.
1 ★Well, right out of the box this has been an exercise in frustration. The app refuses to pair with the ninebot. It finds it, I click on it, it then tells me to pair it with Bluetooth and gives me a paragraph in Chinese which isn't terribly helpful to me. clicking on the checkmark does nothing. Going to the Bluetooth settings and trying to pair it that way ask me for a pin code. Which is not supplied and I can't find anywhere. None of the default choices that one might expect work. Junk.
