1 ★Everytime I open it I'm greeted with an error saying something went wrong delivering content. Nevermind the fact that the app just started working after not being able to even sign in and when I did, it wanted me to pay for issues when I have the 12 month subscription. This is the worst app I've ever seen! It never works!
2 ★Looks like a great app at first but you soon find out it is not. You have to keep hitting the download button to see the progress of your current download. And whatever you do DO NOT let your phone lock out or close while downloading or you have to start over. It seems that it takes longer than necessary to download a file that is between 40 to 100 MBs. It took over 8 minutes to get 85% of download then i had to restart so I gave up. Better off to use Chrome browser to read the magazines.
2 ★This app is bad. I can only read content by downloading entire magazines, and it rarely works. I used to read Game Informer through the "Google Play Newsstand" app (now "Google News"). In fact, Game Informer is still available there but only for new subscribers paying through Google; it was a great experience. Existing subscribers, like those who buy digital subscriptions through GameStop, can now only read on the website or with this bad app. Please let us use "Google News" instead.
1 ★Uninstalling then reinstalling doesn't fix the app and linking the account didn't work either because it was already linked. I've read the reviews and did everything that was asked and nothing has changed. This app that's supposed to make it more convenient to access the digital magazine is more of a hassle.
1 ★The app had an issue last year about not showing my issues to read but that got fixed. Now starting this month the app won't even open. I have reinstalled it and it still will not open. I will try again later, but hopefully posting this will get the developers to fix this bug.
1 ★i have no idea why this is such a difficult process. i have a renewed account for digital through gamestop renewal. i was on paper subscription now digital and the website accepts user id and password but app using same account credentials states no id or password matches i even have the account linked from the website and can download and read the latest issue... but the app? nope. i give up shouldn't be this difficult. shame
1 ★This app does not work. I have never, EVER been able to get an issue to download and view it using this app. I return each month in vain hoping some progress was made. Issues fail to download, sitting a 0% without an progress showing even after a 5 minute wait on a wifi connection. Why this is still available to download is beyond me. It makes your magazine seem less reputable.
1 ★Won't download magazines. There help says you need a good internet.....I play online games world of warships and mw plus witch 4k streaming...but still can't download even restarted it back to back for 10 min and had to restart evwr few seconds but no luck.
2 ★Would not allow me to link my subscription to this app so I could not use this app. If I was able to read my magazines on the app this would be a much better review.
2 ★Can't log in, on the app or site, even though I literally just updated the password. It's like GameInformer has blocked me somehow. This has been happening for weeks now. I've uninstalled the app ce now, and on the browser side I cleared all data, cookies, everything. Even if they fix my login issues, still a horrible UX.
1 ★this app is just awful. logging in and linking your account is a huge pain, and then like everyone else is saying, you have to download the magazine before you can read it and trying to download, it just sits at "extracting" forever and you can never read it. too bad, I like the magazine, but this app makes me not like it. horrible app.
1 ★Absolute Garbage! Tried everything to use this app and nothing worked. Contacted customer service and they repeated the same nonsense on here- "go to the website for instructions" = BS. I tried clearing my cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, changing passwords, updating my GI website info, etc. Simply a Garbage app that they obviously don't want to spend any money on correcting because the website still functuons.
