Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I have changed and updated my review to ONE star. I would mark it ZERO stars if I could. Developer support is NON-EXISTENT. I emailed them some time ago, and yet no reply. I even reached out to someone at Med El directly. THIS APP DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY WITH ANDROID 11. My Note20 Ultra updated from Android 10 [where it was working fine] to 11, now only phone calls work seem to connect. It has lost the ability to stream any other audio to my implant.
1 ★Constant requirement to login, cannot save a login. Requires active data plan(though wifi is fine) to stream from a phone(since you have to login). Currently cannot stream with an up to date pixel 3 Xl. Test sound works but will not stream from apps. Worked a few months ago.
1 ★This worked up to a month ago when after an Android 11 security update it gets very quickly disconnected immediately after connecting. It was already bad that for now real reason it requires a login that you cannot save, but now it's fully non functional!
1 ★Login isn't working, I'm taken to a page where I'm told the login service is down.
2 ★It works under normal circumstances. But, why do I need to login to this app in order to use my AudioLink for streaming? I understand the potential for metrics tracking, or to make sure I own a device (though why that would be a concern I have no idea), but how does this help me as a cochlear implant user? It means I can't stream audio unless I'm online. Power out? No streaming. Camping? No streaming. There's no practical reason for this limitation that I can see?
2 ★The problem with this app, every time I'm always listening to the music on YouTube, it always sign me out and I have to log it in repeatedly, which is frustrating and annoying.
4 ★It works but it is irritating having to log in for every session. The audio for me has too much bass compared to other methods of listening. A way of adjusting bass/ treble either in the app or audiolink would be useful as would automatic Bluetooth connection.
1 ★Audio quality is pretty bad compared to cable
2 ★Very confusing. Sometimes works Sometimes doesn't
