隨著智能電話及平板電腦越來越普及，功能越來越強大，令手機應用程式(APP)逐漸成為主要資訊傳遞途徑之一，其角色亦重要起來。新界地域為方便成員瀏覽最新資訊及教學資源，特意設計手機應用程式，協助領袖教學及傳遞最新消息予成員。新界地域APP整合地域最新消息，新界地域童軍資訊及最新通告，並加入提示、書籤記錄及搜尋等功能。通過新界地域APP，更可將有關資訊直接分享給其他童軍觀看。新界地域APP亦提供了單位資料庫，並以地圖方式呈現，並可連結到單位提供的網頁或電郵。除此之外，地圖功能可直接連結到總會的JoinUs系統，經由此系統可以報名參加童軍。新界地域APP亦加入訓練影片，可隨時觀看，資料將會不定期更新，成為一個童軍技能資料庫。
