تأسس المسجد في عام 1980م وكان عبارة عن بیت صغیر ثم وبعد أن زاد عدد الناس وتوافدوا إلى ھذه المنطقة وسع المسجد المرة الأولى ثم الثانیة والثالثة وكان حتى بعد توسعتھ للمرة الثالثة صغیراً إلى أن یسر االله شرآء كنیسة كانت بجواره وحولت إلى المسجد الذي نصلي فیھ الآن وذلك في عام 2007م والمسجد .یتسع الآن ل )500( مصل من الذكور و )150( مصل من الإناث أي أن في المسجد مصلى للنساءوالمسجد یحتضن حلقات لتحفیظ القرآن الكریم ))مدرسة أبو بكر الصدیق لتحفیظ القرآن الكریم(( التي یبلغ عدد طلابھا أكثر من )60( طالباً من الذكور و كذلك .قسم النساء لتحفیظ القرآن الكریم و الذي یبلغ عدد الطالبات فیھ )60( طالبة تقریباً و الحمد الله
وكذلك مدرسة )الفاروق( في یومي السبت والأحد لتعلیم اللغة العربیة والقرآن الكریم والتربیة الإسلامیة والتي یبلغ عدد طلابھا ما یقارب )230( طالباً وطالبة .یقوم على تدریسھم ستة مدرسین وسبع مدرسات ، مع وجود إزدحام شدید لعدم وجود فصول دراسیة كافیة، ولذلك احتجنا لإضافة ثلاثة فصول
كما تم البدء في تدریس اللغة الإنجلیزیة للأمھات الفاضلات اللآتي غیر ملتحقات بمدارس أخرى حتى یتسنى لھن الفھم عند الحاجة للتحدث مع الآخرین و خاصةً .الجیل الصاعد من الأبناء و البنات

Alslam Alaykom Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatoh:
The Coldwater Islamic Center was established in 1980. Since that time, it has been expanded three times. The Masjid started in small house 1st floor. Later on, the 2nd floor became part of the Masjid, and in 2007, we purchased a building “used to be a church “ next to our Masjid. The Masjid serves the Muslim community in Coldwater and neighboring citie. The Muslims population keeps increasing— around 2000 residents.
The mosque hosts workshops to memorize the Holy Quran ("Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Holy Quran Memorization School") with more than (60) students.
Male students and women's section for the memorization of the Holy Quran, which has a female student ((60)) almost a student and thank God.
Al-Faruq School on Saturday and Sunday to teach the Arabic language, the Holy Quran and Islamic Education. The number of students is about (230) students who are taught by six teachers and seven teachers, So we needed to add three chapters.
English was also taught to mothers who were not enrolled in other schools so that they could understand when needed to talk to others, especially the younger generation of children and girls.
