Registratie is alleen mogelijk voor kinderen tot en met 12 jaar. Bij het invoeren van een ander geboortejaar krijg je een melding dat je niet aan de leeftijdseisen voldoet.
Aan de hand van een lijst met 12 korte vragen krijgen de musea een cijfer en kiezen de kinderen samen het kidsproof museum van Nederland.
