Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★The new version has fixed many of the small improvements that was needed for the app and it is looking really awesome
1 ★I found this app to be very poor. It was not easy to locate the objects described by using the app. Although I bought the full version, many halls had no information about the location of the featured objects. Having wasted around 15 minutes in Hall 1 trying to make sense of the app, I simply gave up. Recently I visited the RIjksmuseum in Amsterdam with my brother and we used their app to take a two hour audio/visual tour of their main exhibits. It was superb. Learn from this, please!
1 ★I was hoping for a audio tour guide that tells me the details and history of each item as I move around. I am sure that explanation text is provided for each item exhibited in the museum I do not need an app for that. Giving me the 20 or 100 best items in a museum is hardly an app. Disappointing. Just found Rick Steves audio tour for the museum and it is exactly what I wanted.
4 ★This reminds me of good memories visiting the British museum. It is a spectacular place. However in the app the images are disappointly small. It would be amazing if it were immersive and had bigger images like the Sites in 3d app. I would be happy to pay for a true virtual museum tour.
5 ★Ya
5 ★Really informative app, loads of illustrations etc. Well worth the price.
3 ★There are a lot of artifacts missing from this app. Considering they update it every day, sometimes twice a day it should have more. I have the paid version. The updates are apparently aimed at the unpaid version.
5 ★I am british and this is is true
5 ★Used this app when visiting the museum and it really helped. Brilliant stuff! We do seem to get an update every day though and I wish there was some information of what the updates contained!
3 ★The content looks excellent. But I can't read a lot of the text because it's off to the right of the screen. Can't zoom, turn to landscape or slide over. Using a Galaxy S3.
3 ★The most annoying thing about this app is that it isn't a "Lite" version with an "option to upgrade" - it's a time-limited trial version that stops working after a few minutes use, unless you pay £2.99. Why not just be honest and up-front about what you're offering? As for the app itself, it's not bad and is a useful companion when visiting the museum. "Fantastic virtual experience" is perhaps over-egging it, as there are just static pictures and text linked to places indicated on the floor maps. It is quite nice for planning your visit and navigating around the (large) museum, though. Aesthetically the app seems to have been designed for iPhones, and is fairly ugly on larger-screen Android phones/phablets - the text doesn't resize or reflow and is massive on a Note, and it has its own rather idiosyncratic interface rather than follow normal Android design principles. Update: The developer has now changed the item description to remove the "Lite" reference and accurately reflect the trial nature of the app and the paid-for upgrade, so thanks for that. I've updated my rating for the app accordingly.
5 ★Very helpful. Have a look to learn the application before visiting the museum
