Conventional procurement models applicable to large produce and do not apply to small-scale sellers. The
need for this digitalization enables a single window platform for small scale procurement, creates rural job,
and money for small volumes of diverse produce. The empowering outcomes of this small-scale procurement
model is that it economically liberates the small-scale sellers by building economic confidence, strengthens communities, local governments, women and youth and provide improved nutrition, local health and environment.
The App for Homestead Procurement and E-Payment (A-HOPE) is being developed to specifically cater to the small-scale seller’s requirement through best-in-class mobile technology.
