Der NoA-Coach (No Addiction-Coach) ist eine kostenlose Smartphone-App zur Unterstützung von Menschen mit Alkoholproblemen. Die App stärkt die individuellen Ressourcen und hilft Ihnen dabei, Ihren risikoreichen Alkoholkonsum nachhaltig zu verändern und Rückfälle zu verhindern.Wesentliches Element der App ist ein Chatbot in Form eines digitalen Coachs mit Namen Noa. Hinter dem Coach steckt keine Person, sondern ein Computerprogramm (Chatbot). Bei einer regelmässigen Nutzung der App (zwei bis fünf Minuten pro Tag) erhalten Sie Informationen und Tipps, die immer mehr auf Ihre persönliche Situation abgestimmt sind. Die App hilft Ihnen, wenn Sie Ihren Alkoholkonsum reduzieren, für eine Weile ganz darauf verzichten und/oder andere Ziele erreichen möchten. Sie bestimmen Ihre Ziele und halten beispielsweise auch fest, wie Sie angenehme Momente geniessen oder in schwierigen Situationen handeln möchten, ohne in ein früheres Trinkverhalten zu geraten.
Die App ist kein Ersatz für eine therapeutische oder medizinische Behandlung und sollte auch nicht als solche angesehen werden. Verschiedene Fachstellen stellen ihren Klientinnen und Klienten den NoA-Coach als kostenlose, zusätzliche Unterstützung zur Verfügung. Der NoA-Coach wurde von der Berner Gesundheit, dem Blauen Kreuz Schweiz und der Suchtfachstelle Zürich mit wissenschaftlicher Begleitung durch das Schweizer Institut für Sucht- und Gesundheitsforschung (ISGF) entwickelt und evaluiert. Seit 2022 steht der NoA-Coach unter der Trägerschaft von SafeZone.ch und wird von Infodrog, der Schweizerischen Koordinations- und Fachstelle Sucht, betrieben und verbreitet.
