1 ★Worked for about 2 minutes then it went to a form asking for consent but it doesn't let you choose to or not. It just freezes the screen. Tried reopening the app. No change. For the 2 minutes I actually got to use it the features that are helpful are locked without buying premium. Pointless app. My phone already does more than the app has to offer. Wouldn't recommend. All they want is for you to pay them a monthly fee. It's a scam IMO.
1 ★Used to be good. There is so much pop up garbage- an advertisement that fills up your entire screen and you cannot get rid of without hitting your "home button". Very disappointing and unprofessional. I just uninstalled it and changed my review & rating here. Update. Seeing their reply just now, I did have the paid version! When I got a new phone, I could not get it to transfer over and their customer support is impossible to get in touch with. I gave up!
1 ★The app is useless now that they removed the hidden cache cleaner (unless you pay). News flash you really dont have to clean it any longer as Android handles it. Cleaning it in later versions was just for the perfectionist crowd, so yet again Avast you shot yourself in the foot... and before you give a generic response and say well it costs us to make it, I have a very good feeling that if you stopped with all the animations, trying to steal people's data, adding bloatware and every other bit of nonsense that you add to these apps, then you would spend a lot less time maintaining them... 5 ★This app cleans so much faster than the previous Cooler 2021 app I thought was so good. Avast keeps apps turned off so they're not running in the background using up the battery and turning on again constantly-- so you always have to return to redo it. When I first bought my new phone, I had problems getting my premium version started because I bought it from the Google Play Store--a mistake I won't make again, but the staff sorted the problem out and got my Subscription going! Yeah team Avast!
5 ★[UPDATE: I figured a way around the problem I was having. I simply cycled my device off, then back on. When I do that, it works beautifully.] Easy to use, and fast. However, when i try to hibernate apps, it freezes, and i have to exit and restart the app. Didn't do that before. Avast developer responded quickly, but w/fixes that didn't help.
1 ★There is no longer any difference between AVG, AVG Lite and Avast cleaners. Everything but the icon is identical. And the most useful feature - that already only worked about 60% of the time - has been moved to Pro version. If you're using this or either of the AVG apps, you're wasting your time. And if you buy the pro version, you're also wasting your money. Absolute scam. Worse than useless.
5 ★This cleaning app is the best cleaning app that I've ever used! My phone has been driving me insane for months with it's "Storage space running critically low?", I tried everything and nothing worked! Till today when I came across this, I tried the seven day trial but I'm definitely going to be extending it when it's over. It finally fixed my problem! 1 ★Unkess you're getting the paid version, don't bother. It doesn't clean up any more than their Avast Mobile Security app that comes with free junk clean up. I can't speak for the paid version since I'm not interested in buying it right now. I downloaded this because the AMS app mentioned above suggested it could clean up several GB of space - should have known that would mean I'd have to pay.
5 ★So far I have confidence in the app. From what I have experienced so far, the app does a great job cleaning up all the garbage and everything out of my phone and keeps it running smoothly. I haven't encountered any issues with the app, and it actually caught someone or something that was trying to gain access to my information. The app caught it and warned me, and the app pit an end to it. I'm still only using the version of the app, but considering purchasing the full version. Thank you Avast.
5 ★I'm a computer tech and technology enthusiast. I've loved Avast for years. I just now started using Avast Cleanup for my phone and I'm still impressed! The UI is wonderful, clean, and intuitive. What I would do to get a job with them... The ads ARE NOT invasive what so ever. It can hibernate apps, kill apps, and gives you a very easy to understand break down of how it can assist. Get it, use it, love it. Forget about the other apps which come from Devs you've never heard of. Stick with the Pros.
1 ★I've been using Avast for years. You are the best for security and clean up, and I do understand that with the free version you have ads. But you really need to do something about the cartoon sound effects. They are taking over my phone, especially when I am not in the app. I'm really close to doing away with Avast after 10 years and going with another security company. NEED TO STOP TAKING OVER MY PHONE!!!
5 ★For months I've been fighting with my phone just to send voice notes! I would delete some pictures and videos, clear my cache and with a few MBs freed, I would go about my business until my phone started groaning again. But this app has changed this pattern. I can't believe how much space it has afforded me. Yesterday I had 31/32 GBs used and now I'm down to 20/32 and it's still going! It's awesome! Highly recommend.
