Era da due anni che Gesù parlava in continuazione a Luisa Piccaretta, la piccola serva di Cristo, del suo Volere, e le dice, “che a nessuno finora ho manifestato. Sfoglia quanti libri vuoi e vedrai che in nessuno troverai quello che ho detto a te della mia Volontà” (Vol. 11, 12.09.1913). “Quanto dovresti ringraziarmi di averti ammesso ai segreti del mio Volere!” (Vol. 11, 29.09.1912). “Quel parlarti sempre del mio Volere, quel farti capire i mirabili effetti, ciò che non ho fatto con nessuno finora…” (Vol. 12, 17.03.1921).
