Permite a las autoridades, docentes, estudiantes y funcionarios administrativos, de la Universidad de Costa Rica, enviar en tiempo real una señal de alerta al Centro de Monitoreo de la Sección de Seguridad y Tránsito.Dicha alerta, si es enviada desde el interior del campus universitario, acciona el Protocolo de Atención de Emergencias, establecido para estos casos. Si es desde el exterior, el centro de monitoreo coordinará con las cuerpos policiales y de atención de emergencias, según corresponda.
Junto con alerta de pánico se envía la ubicación georreferenciada, además, se pueden enviar clips audio y vídeo de la emergencia, lo que facilita a los oficiales de seguridad realizar la atención debida.
