3 ★App was really easy to use, now it stopped working. Not sure what happened or how to go about fixing it. When it was working it was very painless and loved how I can record sweet moments from my phone from the app. Would give 5 stars if the app worked again.
1 ★App constantly crashes and the video is constantly choppy and grainy. The parent unit looks great. It's just in app. Also, motion activated notifications stopped working. One star is for the fact that I can at least look and see a choppy image of by daughters room.
1 ★This app barely even works for me. Keeps signing me out and then saying it's unable to sign me back in. After about 4 or 5 tries I can sign in again. Not a lot explains how the app even works. Also I keep getting notifications about sound alerts every 3ish hours, but my monitor isn't even on.
1 ★I keep getting an "unable to sign in. please try again." message whenever I try to view the cameras on the app. Started last night. Is this a recent problem? When will it be fixed?
1 ★I cannot sing in... I created an account and verified it. First day I could sign in on app I paired with camera RM5864HD PU. The second day it says "Unable to Sign in. Try again later." Its been 5 days and still couldnt sign in. Even after reinstalling app and phone.
5 ★So my wife and I just got this. We pulled it out if the box and got it all set up in like 15 minutes (our dog was distracting us, haha) it was a very well put together and informative app and instruction pamphlet. The camera hooked up right away and we did not run into any issues AT THE MOMENT. definitely recommend this to friends, the camera is responsive, obviously not instantaneous but it is about a 1 to 2 second delay(totally fine). If we run into any issues or problems, I will update then.
3 ★Overall it's good, but there are areas for improvement. 1. Reopening the app from the previous session (just placed in background), the app can never connect even though it says it is. I need to pulled down from the top and force a refresh. 2. I find zoom can be tedious with the touch screen. The issue I have is that when I go to zoom in, the app instead aggressively moves the actual camera. I wish the camera movement & zoom were two distinct options to avoid accidental camera movement.
3 ★Good, but a lot of glitches. The camera clicks between modes during naps and it wakes the baby up. The phone app continues to log me out randomly or forget the camera, so I have to add it again. The monitor battery runs out pretty quickly, but it's good for a night if you want to go outside or leave it unplugged one evening. If I could do it over, I'd probably pick a different company, but it's good for now.
1 ★Can't even scan the QR code..... this is trash. I have an amazing camera but the app doesn't allow the camera to focus. 0 stars because the app is useless.
4 ★We had the Motorola Connect64 but switched due to the antenna breaking and for the same price we got this one the Vtech 1080p, I am much happier with the Vtech. The one thing the Motorola had that this one doesnt is when viewing the camera through the app, if I would hit the home button, the camera would get smaller and go in the bottom right corner so I could still watch my child and do whats needed on my phone at the same time rather than just fully exiting out. This needs to be a feature.
1 ★Edit: I just want people to know that my cameras are updated This app drives me insane. Every time I am using the app and then go check Facebook or something and go back to the app, the cameras are just a white screen and they won't show anything unless I restart the app. Even if I go away from it for 10 seconds I have to restart the whole app. It's so dumb. And whenever I pinch to zoom the camera pans off somewhere that I didn't want it to go. I like the cameras, but man, this app SUCKS.
3 ★Great app but i can only give it 3 stars because it is impossible to zoom in or out on my baby on any mobile device that I have tried it on without it panning or tilting. Recommendation or suggestion for developers is they need to please add buttons that can be pressed to pan or tilt instead of swiping the screen somthing like whats on the parent device. When or if the developers ever do this I will upgrade my stars to 5 instead of 3 but not until then.
