Description
The official commercial fishing app developed by Primary Industries and Regions South Australia. The free app makes mandatory reporting easy for all South Australian commercial fishing licence holders. It provides easy navigation and reporting functionality making it the must-have accessory for SA commercial fishers.Use of the app is restricted to registered South Australian commercial fishers and a licence must be verified by Fishwatch for access via a 4 digit PIN. The app is supported by the Fishwatch call centre 24 hours a day.
The app features built-in lists of specific mandatory commercial fishing reports, plus additional reporting options allowing fishers to easily deregister vessels, report aquatic pests, report broken or lost tags and cancel or change existing reports. Previously submitted reports can also be retrieved for viewing.
Extra features include linking directly to the myPIRSA portal and to the PIRSA website for important notifications relating to South Australian commercial fishing rules and regulations.
The app also includes a ‘Help’ link to access a user-friendly help guide to assist with submitting reports.
