5 ★It's a good divice because it's really helpful to me why I go out fishing
4 ★Still learning about this app, I'm trying to find a "faster" way to check different weather conditions by comparison at ramps at both port Phillip and western port bays, this app has vast and fantastically layed out pages with all you need for a safe and hopefully successful fishing trip, I can't find anything better so far, I'd just love to be able to get to each stored locations "weather conditions" faster for comparisons. A Great app.
5 ★Absolutely love this app! Has just about everything to help decide when and to go fishing! With up-to-date information about the weather, wind speed, tides, moon phase, etc., to Google earth mapping, and even a log for your catches at particular spots! Thoroughly recommend Fishing Points app!
5 ★Great information in the app! There is fish action, wind, air pressure, tides, waves, and it logs all this when you record a catch! The only thing I would like is to also log the trend of e.g. wind/pressure, maybe just over the day. Also no fuss about social networking, you can just log spots for yourself to remember. So far I'm loving the app and may consider a subscription in the future, but now I have ca 1km to water so the daily info is enough.
2 ★Has no cost but it asks to chose monthly for $5.99 or yearly for $29.99. basically, it's only free for a trial period and then payments are required. This should be part of the upfront description but isn't, so now everyone can see it in this review. Uninstalled after seeing required payment and won't use. Apps should have fees somewhere in the description before installing.
5 ★I am a commercial fisherman. Oyeterman to be exact. Outside of an awesome catch, making way home is most important. This app has proven useful on countless foggy mornings and evenings. I count on it to get us to and from the oyster bars where we harvest them. I mainly use the hybrid map and it even shows the bars and the reefs. This app has gotten me home to my family every time I have counted on it to. Very much useful and i am very much thankful. Thanks
3 ★Honestly, this is a great app. However they recently updated the map and now the bay system I view frequently, the water is cloudy and muddy and doesn't show the reefs, guts and grass. This is a major setback. I would love to revert to the older version.
3 ★I really only use this app for the Tides. I like it fine, just has a lot of features locked behind the pay wall, but Id say it's worth downloading! I do not trust the fish activity tab, as it's never been accurate for my location(s).
2 ★Premium is pretty much a joke. You're essentially paying for an advanced weather app with a basic GPS. Youd expect something like a lake map or some sort of rough contour lines but as soon as it's on water. You basically have Google maps but you pay for it
2 ★App seemed decent if you subscribe but for a new angler just looking for a few decent local spots, it was not at all intuitive and immediately bombarded me with options to subscribe and then ads. No thanks.
2 ★i was expecting to get nautical maps for local areas along with fishing activity in one app. the nautical maps only include very large bodies of water near my location such as the great lakes but no smaller lakes and rivers. The tracking aspect is a nice touch but the biggest issue i found was that the points would drift and my track would be wildy inaccuate after 3 hours of fishing. This could be dangerous if i was saving a track in my boat to follow according to the depths of the water.
5 ★Great app for showing tidal information. Not so sure about the feeding time info based on solunar tables. The satellite map is very handy to locate specific fishing areas, and routes to and from. Really nice to have all of this information in one place, and can't beat the price.
