Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★I wouldn't recommend it to others. There's a lot of rough edges (keyboard sits over important UI elements, switching from home to notifications via the buttons doesn't always work, etc.) and the UI can be confusing at times (I still don't know what those buttons in the blue toot menu do and the favourite button never shows a pending state, you get an annoying pop up when it completes instead). tl;dr: this app needs some polish.
4 ★It's my preferred way to access the fediverse. It's not without fault, but nothing that completely breaks for me. Some examples - Sometimes I need to actively refresh a feed. - Sometimes it'll open in 'notifications' but will be displaying my home. - sometimes it doesn't activate a follow for some reason, or at least doesn't indicate that it does. I'm rating it highly because it's a nice solid app. It allows me to access my feed easily, and it's nicely intuitive for me.
4 ★This is my go-to Mastadon app, as it is the only one that implements a "Mute for home" feature, making lists far more usable. I like the flexibility in the timelines, but 2 things make the app just short of perfect for me. 1) The single action bar is great, but there needs to be an option to have it at the bottom of the screen. 2) Would like to be able to add "Explore" feeds (e.g. trending messages or tags) to the action bar, instead of having to go via the side menu.
5 ★I'm really enjoying this app, it seems to have everything I need and works well. Only thing that makes me drop a star (see edit below) is where favourites and bookmarks are located - it's not intuitive at least for me. Everything else seems to be in a logical place. Edit: Developer responded to my comment and it seems that they will be moving things around to make it more intuitive. First developer to respond so quickly in a few hours deserves an extra star.
4 ★Overall, pretty good app! The one aspect of the app I'd like to see improved is how the app lets me quickly jump to the latest notifications. Currently the app seems to reset itself back to a previous date. When I tap the icon to jump to the latest, it seems to jump in batches as if it's still loading notifications.
3 ★I was enjoying it. So I started to customize. I changed the logo and now it won't open. Not even after clearing all data and cache. Need to uninstall and reinstall.
5 ★Much better as the Mastodon original app. It also keeps the timeline and didn't ruin it when reloading.
5 ★Pretty neat! I would love to have some issues with scrolling through the UI being quite stuttery to be fixed sometime and errors erasing what I wrote before putting the app on multitasking as a second task but, overall, adds a lot of functionality and is great for making the most out of Mastodon/the Fediverse, definitely worth the payment here on the playstore!
4 ★Nice interface and easy to get used to. Latest updates have removed the minor flicker of the screen.
1 ★It's my understanding that this app's developer has chosen to support hate speech by making this app compatible with Gab. I regret that I spent money on it, because there are other great fediverse apps out there that I could be using that have chosen to not help hate groups.
4 ★I prefer the UI of Tusky to be honest. UI could really use some polish on this app. Other than that it's a great app with the most options.
3 ★No longer seeing the boost count in trending ... Update: I had to go into settings >timeline to toggle the message/boost count back on
