Download Talon for Twitter APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

5 ★still getting used to it, may update to different score if disappointed. but i doubt that will happen.
1 ★- old tweets does not show up - download function does not work - compose button is in the middle of the screen - app doesn't support reading from new to old (going down) - very slow loading time (compared to other apps) - when you are going down to see replies of a tweet you often end up dismissing the tweet
3 ★needs an option to always open links in external browser. opening twitter links with talon doesn't work (despite it being set to "always open with this app"), yet it is no problem with fenix. when i hit "reply" the keyboard doesn't come up.
4 ★please make liked tweet heart animation like in twitter, it's so pleasant there and so dull & non-attractive here....
4 ★Good and closest I could find to replace the old Finch app. But the issue with the Klinker guys is they always start and abandon projects. It's not about spending money, I gladly pay for Pulse but it's the complete change in design and abandoning something we were used to and we liked. It's not like changing a car every 2 years. It's like going from a boat to a bicycle and back every time.
5 ★I love using this app for my Twitter needs. Very satisfied with it.
5 ★My go-to twitter app for years. Love the simple design that doesn't get in your way - shows your timeline in a concise manner without all the BS twitter tries to shove on you. Also love the ability to save tweets and view users' media in a gallery format. Only complaints are that album thumbnails seem to be cropped weird, and navigating profiles can be cumbersome with the way it's designed. The lack of some features like polls is a shame but that seems to be beyond control
4 ★It's not perfect, but it's the best Twitter app I've found. It does a good job of remembering my place in the timeline, even when I'm hundreds of tweets behind, which is important to me. There are some odd behaviours and visual choices, which I don't love, not to mention some bugs, but nothing that I can't live with.
4 ★So far, it works fine. Only had it installed for less than a week. One thing, when swiping down it has a tendency to jump as the pictures loads, if the size is large and the message you were reading gets pushed down out of sight, don't know if you can fixs the place holder by bottom of picture so you don't notice it. I did change font size? 11/3/21 still jumps as pictures load.
1 ★Crashing after last update
4 ★other than not being able to see likes, and seemingly not automatically jumping to latest tweets when I load the app, it's better than the official one! dunno why it costs money tho.
4 ★Search/User/Unfollow and app will not unfollow. Had to login via browser and unfollow via Twitter.
