2 ★Don't like not being able to read whole articles. Also aggravating to us on a tablet as all images are low res.

5 ★I've not used this app much but decided to give it a go with this major redesign. Wow! This is on par with the quality of the CNN app. Pretty good for a bunch of canucks eh! I'll be using this app daily now.

1 ★Slow load, not updated frequently. The main story had been shown for over 2 days now. edit: still the same problems! Even after a couple updates. Finally uninstalling. If you haven't used google news, its browser based and way better.

1 ★I can view this site on a PC or iPad with no changes. This app crushes the experience down to a glorified news stream. No comics or videos. Please build an app or make the site android browser accessible.

2 ★The new design is nice but you should be able to swipe right to left through the sections, like the new menu at the left. Also, it's really slow to load articles and their pictures.

1 ★Now it just hangs and freezes. Wish they would stop trying to fix something that was not broken. Guess I'll have to read the globe and Mail online now. Globe and Mail program seems much more stable, can actually read the news. Canoe was my first choice, but just awful app, whoever made this app, must have been a child or a retarded monkey. And can anyone explain to me why my news reader app would need permission to take pics and video from my phone? Sounds like a snoopy developer using a legit app to get personal info and pics. Dirty

1 ★Unlike any of my other news apps, this one is constantly running in the background, sucking cpu, thus battery, and constantly polling data. Uninstalled. Too bad app sucks, otherwise I like Canoe news.

1 ★Given that canoe.CA has been in existence for over a decade, one would expect that their mobile app would be slick, clean and bleeding edge. Back to the drawing board Canoe ... this mobile app isn't close ... its a major miss by a company that could and should have done a better job.

2 ★When they don't load for an article, I go to other reputable news sources for my viewing needs. You need to fix this.
