Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★This is my favorite news app. Very well written, informative and indepth articles. However, I'm starting to stray from using this app. The amount of ads have me losing interest in reading the article. EVERY SINGLE click brings on another ad. None of the ads make me interested in what is advertised...only makes me NOT want anything to do with it and I end up leaving the app because I am annoyed by too many ads.
4 ★Uninstalling because, for some reason, I get redirected to garbage apps on Google Play. Can't even read the first paragraph of an article without the screen switching to the play store. This just started today, and I don't have this issue with any of my other apps. Have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app but to no avail. UPDATE 7/26/2019- Saw a review which stated app issues had been fixed. Giving the app another go. Seems to be fine now. Still-the ads are terrible in size and volume.
1 ★If being totally bombarded with invasive ads that lock up your screen for up to 27 seconds and make you never want to buy the product they're advertising, this is the app for you. If you love tv/movie spoilers right in the headline of the story, the day after the show airs, you're going to love this app. If you enjoy news stories full of spelling and grammatical errors and non sequitur captions to photos in the story, you'll looooove this app!!
1 ★Tries to get you to install unknown apps. Used to love this app. It does have ads and recently the ads have gotten larger. Today while trying to read an article, the app exploded with a multitude of other apps from the Google Play store and the only way to stop it is to "force close" the Daily Mail Online app. The new pop-up ad campaign was successful. It succeeded in getting me to uninstall Daily Mail Online. Don't know who came up with that bright idea but no thank you.
1 ★Ads constantly popping up. This used to be enjoyable but not so much anymore. The app is constantly crashing because the ads don't load correctly. I'm always being thrown off or dealing with ad bombardments. No matter what phone I've had for my daily mail it does the same thing it's frustrating. I don't know what has happened or changed in the last six months. Hopefully this issue will be resolved so I can actually read a full article again. This has become very frustrating to read.
2 ★Used to love this app, but everytime I swipe past a picture an ad pops up and you can't even close them right away. I think in gonna remove it from my phone soon. Can you imagine reading a book and everytime you turn the page an ad pops up. This app is like that but worse. I gave it two stars because I still like the content so much so that I was willing to pay for an ad free version but that's not even an option.
1 ★Long time user of the app but over the last two years the ads have taken over the app and now the user experience is awful. I understand ads are needed for revenue but these lockup your phone for 30 seconds (unless you exit the app) and they will pop up every few seconds or several times while viewing just one story. I have switched to smartnews and Newbreak that both have less intrusive ads with a lot of the same content. I'd be willing to pay a small annual fee to eliminate ads!
1 ★This used to be a great news app but suddenly many multiple pop up ads direct straight to the goolge play store for other garbage apps. Daily mail acts just like a virus has taken it over. It takes great effort to make it stop. I cannot even click any article or it starts all over again. I will drop this app if it persists without a fix.
1 ★Update: Was fixed for a long time but now it doesn't let me post comments and it started crashing.. I don't think the app creator's give a fig either.. Like a previous poster said, whenever I'm on this App, it jumps to google play, starts chirping, more google play apps pop up and you cant close them fast enough. I had to delete it and this was my favorite news site. Very disappointing.
1 ★Okay, this app is great and works great..... but I've noticed a lot lately that the ads are flashing lights very rapidly, like glitchy. Sometimes they'll stop and start again while scrolling. I'm not photo sensitive, but my son is, so I know how concerning this can be. I think this should be addressed because it can cause users of this app to have a seizure just by reading an article.
1 ★My experience with this application is bad. I can't access my profile, or my arrow factor, see what my 24 hour, 30 day, or total is, I usually can't add most of my comments regardless of content, I can't fix it or get any response from DailyMail. There are too many pop up advertisements compared to when I first installed this application. It's like there's "new management" and everything is going downhill and they don't get it! I'm preparing to unistall this application and go elsewhere.
1 ★This app has gone steadily downhill over the last year. I uninstalled it for the final time about a month ago because the constant pop up ads, auto play videos, and worrying page jumps that keep directing you to the Google Play store in an attempt to trick you into downloading other apps became too much. The DM needs to fix this crappy app almost as badly as they need to invest in real writers and editors. The grammatical and fact checking errors routinely posted in this rag are atrocious.
