How to install SIM Dashboard APK on Android phone or tablet?

Q: What is an APK File?

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★love the app. i mainly use the button box function for assetto corsa competizione. totally worth the money considering the cost of a real button box. one problem so far, the weather widget, it seems it doesn't show correcly in acc. for example, it shows sunny while it's actually raining in the race. also, is it possible to add a weather forecast widget? because the weather in the future is more important. none the less, this is a great app.

1 ★I think it's insanely dumb to only give us 3 widgets max unless we buy pro
2 ★I want to like this app. It's great when it works, but the connection problems are horrible. Trying to run it in any game the app just constantly goes from "Running" to "Not Running". It won't stay connected longer than a minute or two at the most. The Dashboard Studio is neat to design a custom dash panel, and would be worth a higher rating on it's own, but for some reason you need to be connected to your device to use it (yes, you can design on the device itself, but the desktop version allows a bit more precision and is less clunky). But again, the same problem persists: constantly losing connection. It would be nice if there was just a desktop or browser based app that you could design on then upload to your device. Although, it wouldn't make much difference since, again, the app won't stay connected to the game either. "Troubleshooting" doesn't help and amounts to nothing more than a page that says "Check your Wifi connection". There's no user forums or any other way to ask questions or get help with any issues. If nothing else, it's fun to mess around with, but wasn't worth the price I paid for the pro version.
5 ★This app is awesome. I use it with DiRT Rally 2.0 and an old android tablet I have. This is easily the best of its kind and it is definitely becoming a permanent installation in my setup. I'd say the customization capabilities make a tablet or two running this app far superior to a physical sim dashboard. My only real gripe is that you can't transfer profiles across devices, but it isn't a huge drawback. As a suggestion, I think it would be cool if some of the misc. symbols could light up.
