A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

1 ★App not working well.sometime app automaticly lost the of bulb.
5 ★Good app, feature rich. You can do music sync, events, schedule, etc. Only thing which should be improved is the changeover of color from one to another which is abrupt and not blending. Also better to define set of colors for random effect.
1 ★Not working properly. Every time we have to reset the app. Not only in Android but I tried this app in Apple phone also but it's not working. I bought bulb for my home but not working properly, not worth, pls don't buy.
1 ★I have the desk lamp and whenever I put it on white ,it becomes warm instead of pure white. It goes to white for a sec suddenly changes to a warmer tone again. Initially assumed it didn't have pure white but recently realized it's there. Please fix app ,if I can get white light . This will be a perfect lamp then

4 ★It was working good. But from last 2 days, the bulbs are not responding to neither Alexa nor Google. Above all that, my smitch app isn't working. I'm unable to launch the app" INTERNET UNAVAILABLE" pops up, but internet is work just fine. I tried reinstalling the app but still same issue. PS- Smitch resolved the issue and showed a great customer support
4 ★Setting the devices became easy with the recent update in the software and after sales support is excellent. My device got replaced with the new one after 6 months of use without asking any questions.
5 ★Bought this product after viewing various feedback. Bulbs are working nicely on Google assistant as well as on smitch app. The only issue I dealt with this product is the inconsistency of the event scheduler. It initially worked for 3-4 times for the time duration set on it but later it stopped working for the time set on it. I have to reinstall the app to get the event scheduler work again. P.S. Smitch support team called me and within 24 hours the issue was sorted out. Changing rating to 5
4 ★Same problem as others are reporting. Unable to open app as it says Internet unavailable. Unable to control the lights from Google home as well as none of them are online. ***UPDATE***: I received a call from the customer support who informed me the issues and helped bring the service up and running for my ISP.
5 ★Gave 1 star in my previous review now updating it to 5 star, thanks to the firmware update a major issue has been fixed now previously whenever you say Google to turn on the lights, lights did turn on but very dull and low on brightness and then you have to go manually on the my smitch app to turn up the brightness now that has been fixed. That's the only concern i had the bulb thankfully its fixed, will buy more bulbs in future. Kudos for your hard work
5 ★Not able to use the app since a day. It keeps showing no internet. Update: smitch Reply actually called me, which rarely happens with other companies. I am updating my review for 5 stars, as they do deserve it. The problem has been sorted out and no issues now. Keep up the good work, team iotmonks.
