Hidden Self is a nonverbal projective personality test based on the Szondi Test, a tool developed by the Hungarian psychiatrist Leopold Szondi in the 20th century.The aim of the test is to reveal the deepest repressed impulses of a person on the basis of sympathy or aversion caused by the specific photos of psychopaths. Each photo is supposed to be a stimulus apt to detect the psychological drive tendencies of the examinee, from which the main personality traits can surface.
