FAQ:
What is SafetyNet?
SafetyNet is a mechanism used by apps in the Google Play Store to detect malicious spyware, malware, and if a device has been tampered with (root devices). This tool helps applications determine if a device is safe to use the app. For example, devices that are not cleared through SafetyNet will not be able to use secure functions like Android Play.

What is SafetyNet Checker?
SafetyNet Checker will ask SafetyNet about the status of the device. SafetyNet Checker the receives a response from the server to inform you about your device. Your device will not pass if it is rooted, runs on a custom ROM, contains bad URLs, harmful apps, or is infected with low-level malware.

Why use SafetyNet Checker?
If you are having trouble accessing a secure app, like Android Pay, SafetyNet Checker is a good place to start to check the health of your device. If you have not rooted your device, SafetyNet Checker may discover and inform you of harmful malware on your device. If you are attempting to root your device, SafetyNet Checker can help to ensure the status of your root.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great way to check root status and verify safetynet
2 ★Completely useless app, only tried it because busybox gave me a notification ad for it, and uninstalled this app because of near nonstop ads while in the app. Edit: got a canned reply about how advertising supports the app; that doesn't excuse a pop up ad appearing every two seconds, and advertising in notifications is against Google's guidelines, so please conform to those at the very least.
3 ★It gives a binary ""(does not) pass" response. No clue why it may not pass. Maybe to come?
4 ★Can it tell me why I failed?
1 ★Useless app
5 ★Love your apps. Thank u
5 ★Jrummy is an amazing app developer.
1 ★Uninstalled it immediately after trying and seeing ads on every interaction. It seems that it's purpose is to promote other JRummy apps and earn advertising money with SafetyNet check as an added bonus. Besides, it does not give any indications why the check failed. I already know that my phone is rooted but other options are harmful apps, malware or bad URLs. Would be nice to know which one of those is the real reason.
2 ★Way too many disruptive ads.
5 ★Download DNS66 to skip the ads but still support the devs.
5 ★Mast
