This is meant to replace Superuser (if installed), you use either one or the other. You cannot combine them. Statements that this breaks Superuser are therefore completely nonsensical.

NOTICE: A SPECIAL PROCEDURE IS NEEDED FOR UNINSTALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE APP, DO *NOT* JUST UNINSTALL IT, YOU *WILL* LOSE ROOT.
Superuser access management runs through a so called "su binary". There can be only one of these at a time. So if you install SuperSU, your previous superuser access management solution will no longer operate. So if you want to switch back: (1) Open that application, and search for an option for it to install/update/replace the "su binary". (2) Confirm root-using apps are using the superuser solution you want. (3) Uninstall SuperSU.

How to install SuperSU APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download SuperSU APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (eu.chainfire.supersu-v2.82-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

1 ★It says binary occupied on my s7 and won't run. My phone is rooted. No amount of updating fixes this problem for me, and the "how to solve" button is a generic guide to rooting. Garbage.

1 ★I bought an abox android 7.1 TV box on amazon.de for 60 Euros a few days ago and this software seems to have destroyed it. The box was rooted and wouldn't run some of my apps properly. I successfully installed this app and it appeared to run successfully. But when the box rebooted, android won't load. I got to the recovery screen and tried to reset the box to factory defaults but to no avail.

2 ★2.79 working fine on my HTC. This update results in "su binary occupied" error and will not work. If I install 2.79 via twrp play store immediately updates it and it doesn't work. Rubbish

4 ★Newest version won't work with cm 13 root manager. SuperSU binary occupied. Won't give any more options other than fix. I'm running amazon Tate with cm13

2 ★Warning! DO NOT install this on your rooted TV boxes. It will brick your device. I installed it on my H96 pro mini and it bricked my device for good. Can't even work restore factory settings no more.

2 ★Not work on android v6.0+ MTP conflict, safety net error etc. Have to move to another system. Thank you for many great years behind.

2 ★Suddenly requires a while lot more rights. V2.82 put my device into a boot loop, in the end I managed to get it into safe mode so I could uninstall superSU. doing a recovery install of the 2.82 zip fixed the issue, but what a painful experience.

5 ★Always the best app of all time... especially where apps like kinguser are concerned... most root apps are thankfully coded specifically for this app... one app to rule them all is not the way to go as apps like kingroot believe... especially Chinese originated rooting apps... thanks for an alternative... great job!!!

3 ★This app is great, really! But, well, I don't know the problem occurs to only me or not, the newest update gives me "SU binary is occupied" everytime I re-enable super user after I disable it. And then it won't update the binary. Re-flash SU and re-install this version Super SU turns everything back to normal, but after I disable super user and then re-enabled it again, the same problem occurs. Installing busybox helps a little at first but now it won't work idk why. So now I'm using older version (2.65) and it works normal. I'm using OPPO A37f btw.

2 ★When i rooted my device on samsung galaxy j7 2016, my wifi couldn't turned on, the wifi couldn't work properly.. something wrong to my wifi since i installed supersu for rooting my device. Do you any suggest for me?
