This application will test the device for root (superuser) access using a very simple, quick, and reliable method that has been successful for over 50 million Android devices. The su binary is the most common binary used on Android devices to grant and manage root (superuser) access. Root Checker will check and verify that the su binary is located in a common standard location on the device. In addition, Root Checker will verify whether the su binary is properly functioning in granting root (superuser) access.

Many times users experience issues along the path of installing, configuring, and gaining root access or uninstalling and removing root access. For some users the process can seem complex while for others the process can seem simple. Regardless of the user's technical skill set, Root Checker, will quickly and correctly verify whether or not root access is 100% functioning. The process of confirming root access is sometimes known by other terms such as, gaining superuser access or gaining administrator access. 5 ★Works well on HTC One M8 running LineageOs 17.1 and Majisk SU. I only installed to check then deleted straight after.

3 ★Not amazing, not accurate. I run android 7.1.2 Lineage OS 14.1. I have full root permissions and access however, this app says I do not. I have used root several times and use a theming engine that requires root.

5 ★Assuming it works, it works. And please, change the "phone not rooted" message, people don't seem to understand "root not properly installed".

Now many people are saying that this app just tells whether the phone is rooted or not and dont install this app My reply to them is that this apps name is also Root Checker and this app is just made for checking root access and it is necessary for some advanced users to check root access and it works fine So dont rate if you dont know its use

5 ★Literally does what its name says, not sure what's the fuss some people here is complaining about. People who don't even know what root is, is ruining the rating of the app with 1 star.

3 ★I recently updated root checker with all in one bundle for money and when I reapened the app, and I still see advertisements and its not advanced root checker, so what did I waste my money on exactly??? 😤 I want my money back or the issue to be fixed now, and when I go to upgrade it again it says that there was an error, I already purchased it

1 ★Warning!!!! Scam wanting payment for upgrade, why should I pay for something that doesn't work. Once you install it tells you sorry root access was not installed properly on your device. There's no other way but to buy the upgrade. Shame haha

1 ★Proper installation was done, but the error kept coming that it wasn't installed correctly. Asking for upgrade when the normal wouldn't work. Uninstall in the next minute. Waste.

1 ★How many ads do you want me to view? I got ad while waiting for an ad... And then got an ad after that. This is ridiculous and a sad cash grab. Go get one of the 10.000 other root validaters. This one is bad.

1 ★The free up showed phone as rooted.. i checked on a term emulator as well as other apps and the phone is not. Default settings for a driod 9 do not have the phone rooted. The free app then asks you to upgreade to the paid app for details.. its false advertising.
