1 ★Junk. I was able connect the smoker and app once. The firmware upgrade failed. Tried on my wife's phone. Get message from app that username and password do not match. Planning to repack the smoker and return to menards. Overall experience was bad.

3 ★kinda frustrating, the smoker wasn't connecting using my Samsung note8. I was able to download the app on a Samsung S6 active and the smoker connect to my home network right away. The app on the note8 started working after that and the smoker works good. the app also did a firmware update.

1 ★App completely sucks. Connection issues. Crashes. A cooking unit with no way of setting temp for poultry without using the app. There should be a way to use cooker 100% without using app. Thanks for messing up thanksgiving.

1 ★This version does not work with my smoker. The old one worked fine. I got a new phone now my smoker is useless. Can only use it wilt preset probe cooking. Wish I could get the older version.

2 ★The Simple Smoker is awesome but this app leaves a lot room for improvement. I can't even edit because it says either probe or time, but I can't blank one out to update it... Limited recipes in the app also extremely disappointing.

1 ★App was horrible. Hardly stayed Connected to smoker, very limited options, not intuitive. Requires an account to connect to the internet and then still requires you to be on the same network to work.

1 ★The app and the smoker are garbage. The smoker doesn't stay connected for any amount of time. Why wasn't a readout put on the smoker instead of everything through an app you can never use because it won't stay connected to wifi. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS SMOKER!!!

4 ★App works great 90% of the time. Sometimes has connection errors.....but could be a wifi issie and not the app. I do know my 3 year old smoker only works on 2g wifi and will not connect to 5g networks. But once up n running the app is reliable and easy to use.

1 ★Absolute garbage. Do NOT EVER buy a Charl Broil smoker. Unless you enyoy f-ing around with useless apps that will absolutely NOT connect to your smoker. Worked fine at least once and the next time we turned it on... nothing but "server errors" Wasted my time and money. Never again.

4 ★Hasn't been updated in 16 months. Doesn't work with Android 9.0 update... finally updated. second time in 4 years but it works now at least.

1 ★Boy do I ever regret buying this char broil wireless smoker it is more of a pain in the ass than anything. I'm connected to DADO But the app will never recognize it. I spend more time messing with this thing than I have cooking. I will never buy another char broil product ever...
