2016年7月東京上野にある国立西洋美術館が世界遺産に登録され、大きな話題になりました。
これまでの世界遺産と異なり
国立西洋美術館は市街地の真ん中にあって、
常設、現役の建築物、
この建造物がが登録されるのは初めてで、
このことでも画期的な出来事でした。
1960年、エジプトがナイル川流域に
アスワンダムを建設し
このダムが完成すると
ヌビア遺跡が水没することになりました。
このためユネスコが、
ヌビア水没遺跡救済キャンペーンを開始。
ヌビア遺跡内のアブ・シンベル神殿の移築が実現しました。

という機運が生まれ
1972年世界遺産条約が成立しました。

エジプトアブ・シンベル神殿は、

その後認定される世界遺産の多くが、

世界遺産とパワースポットは
密接な関連が出来上がりました。
日本でも世界遺産認定第1号の法隆寺と、
同時第1号の自然世界遺産である屋久島は、
