How to install BACKPACKER APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download BACKPACKER APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.backpacker.android-v23.5.2-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

1 ★This would be a great app... if it worked. Have subscribed for almost a year and have had nothing but problems trying to sign in and access magazines I have already paid for. Needs serious work. I'm going back to paper and a subscription through Kindle, which isn't great but at least I can read the magazines I paid for. Very disappointing.
1 ★I have installed the app and purchased a subscription via it and Google Play happily took my money and nothing happened after that: the app still requires to subscribe and does not allow downloading any content. I have sent an email to the developer's contact and received no response. I have contacted the publisher Active Interest Media and was rejected with an explanation that "they cannot help with a subscription purchased on Google Play and I need to contact Google Play directly". After I contacted Google Play the subscription was cancelled and refunded by Google Play. Recommendation: do not install and do not subscribe via the app. It does not work and you'll waste you time and money.
1 ★The print magazine is great, the app is horrible. My print subscription just expired. I'm trying to purchase a digital subscription, and the subscribe now button doesn't even work/respond.
4 ★Contacted support and got everything sorted in about 1 business day. I can access the most recent magazines and the reading format works well on my Galaxy 9+. Navigating the app and adding bookmarks works well too.

5 ★As a long time subscriber to Backpacked magazine it is great to have a digital way to read the magazine on the go and know I should be able to keep these issues for a long time without using physical space. I really appreciate the app. It seems to work great! I think the people having trouble should call the help line or go through the help menu. Works great for me. Tiniest issue being it is a bit slow to open.
5 ★Not sure where the other's problems we're coming from with this app. The important thing to realize is that if you only have a print subscription, you won't be able to view the magazines on here. The electronic subscription can be bought for only $5 from the page on the backpacker website titled "Backpacker Magazine Apps'. Follow the instructions there, then download this app and existing account info should work after the purchase. Works great on my phone.
