Description
TASCAM DR CONTROL is an app that allows you to control the DR-22WL/DR-44WL Linear PCM Recorders remotely via Wi-fi. Enjoy handy recording on the DR-22WL/DR-44WL with a smartphone or tablet without the location restictions of a computer.TASCAM DR CONTROL allows you to remotely control recording levels, filter settings, file organizing and file transfer from DR-22WL/DR-44WL to your smartphone or tablet device.
Also you can choose the connection from two different type:
- “VIA ROUTER” mode enables the wireless remote control operation by connecting your smartphone or tablet device to a Wi-Fi router installed in a studio or at home. Remote control is operable with email, map, or other apps and online services at the same time
- “TO DEVICE” mode allows direct, one-to-one connection with the DR-22WL/DR-44WL, and so the remote control function works in the outdoor environment where Wi-Fi router is not available
The Version 2.0 firmware can be freely downloaded on the TASCAM’s website or on the App, letting the users to update their DR-22WL/DR-44WL on their own. The TASCAM DR CONTROL app can also be installed or updated for free.

Download DR CONTROL APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

4 ★Enjoy
3 ★I don't know. Seems buggy to me. It tells me to update firmware, then when I click to do it, it just sits forever and does nothing. I have to shut down everything on the phone and restart the app. Then when I CAN see and play a file on the DR-22, I see it playing in the app, the counter is moving, the volume is UP, and I hear nothing. Seems it should be intuitive, but maybe that's just me. I don't know if uninstalling and reinstalling it would make a difference, but at this point I don't see any value in it other than changing system settings via my Smartphone.
2 ★Button presses don't always work. Warns me that device firmware is too old every time I open the app, even though device is upgraded to latest firmware. Extremely annoying.
4 ★Working well for me, new interface, more intuitive than before. Like it.
3 ★On two different Android tablets, when trying to set levels, the level display flickers, shudders, then disappears from under my finger before I can even get the levels set. Takes me 8 to 10 tries to get the levels where I want them. It's faster to walk over to the dr-44wl and set the levels there. Plus, no monitoring remotely and no way to delete files. This app is a great concept, but with horrible implementation. I expected more effort from Tascam.
3 ★Good looking app, but do some focus on usability. For example, downloading a file is tough. There is no way to set the destination, or know what the destination is. Also, if the phone screen times out, the download stops. Need to enable background downloads. Etc etc.
4 ★But ;) Please do something about the back button; The number of times that I have pressed it and cursed whilst starting the program up and reconnecting. Please add a 'do you want to exit this program?' or similar as a minimum. Many thanks.
2 ★The app used to (mostly) work on my old Nexus 5, but nothing works at all on my 6P. The app was one of the main reasons I purchased this particular recorder, so it would be nice of the functionality was intact. Please continue fixing these issues, Tascam!
1 ★Wow weak app for what I thought was a good brand. Everything says to follow instructions in app and then there are no instructions in app. The app is very confusing and says my tascam must be connected but I am unable to find out how to connect it.
1 ★The app never connect to device, tried bunch of times, power cycle, still doesn't connect. I have a Nexus 5x with Android 6.0.1. Wi-Fi feature completely useless
1 ★App a bit of a disappointment as contained hidden junk games when downloaded. Games keep coming up asking you to open your browser. I thought it might of been my phone so downloaded separately to another phone and had same problem. So avoid downloading if possible until hidden spyware etc is removed
