AmpliTube UA is the revolutionary free companion app to iRig UA. It lets you turn any Android device* into the ultimate mobile guitar and bass multi-effects processor. AmpliTube UA is a free and comes with a complete assortment of meticulously recreated virtual versions of some of the most coveted gear on the planet. To get the most out of AmpliTube UA, you need to pair it with an iRig UA digital audio interface. Combined, the two give musicians the power to play in real-time with no audible device processing delay, a market first for the Android platform. iRig UA’s on-board digital signal processor works in conjunction with AmpliTube UA. And because all of the processing is handled by iRig UA, and not on the Android device, it’s able to provide consistent zero latency performance (down to 2ms round-trip total latency) independent of the make and model of the connected smartphone or tablet.
You can use AmpliTube UA functions in a “preview” mode when an iRig UA is not connected to the device. This allows full use of its generous collection of amplifiers, stompboxes, cabinets and microphones with the provided “dry” audio demo. However, an iRig UA is required for audio-in and guitar processing functionality.

1 ★It doesn't work. I went round and round and just plain does nothing but demo. I bought an irig2 and loaded this app, then followed all the (ridiculous) instructions, including product registration, then nothing but demo mode. I'm not buying more in app just to see if it works that way. RETURN of the irig2 and uninstall the app with extreme prejudice.
1 ★I gave you a 1 star rating because I can't give less. I'm actually dissatisfied with the way we're not able to download the older version of this software that worked with irig and irig2 on android. It worked fine and I had what I PAID for. Now that I have a new android phone, I can't get the old version forcing me to buy more stuff. Really? Terrible way of treating customers! I thought you guys were musicians oriented. I'm not after support. Just access to something I paid for already.
1 ★Is not working on my new phone IRigUA for android. I don't know why? My product is registered but amplitub is not working. I can't find a way. Shame.
1 ★Garbage, don't waste your time after you install it wants $100 to use it or maybe it was 99 don't remember the exact amount but it was ridiculous. The "free demo" does not let you play your guitar through the app. It play is a sample recording and you can change the sound of the recording through the app. There are so many better apps out there that are free or at least let you get a realistic demo before you pay that kind of money. Thank you for wasting my time.
1 ★nightmare. I paid for this app, I bought a new phone then I could not install it on my new phone . I lost my licence , emailed them multiple times they said they resset my password but then I registered it again but I still cant use it. its only running on demo . will never buy another IK multimedia . I was going to buy the microphone plug in but not anymore I lost my trust. I lost all the apps including the 8 track recorder that i paid extra also some overdrive and distortion pedals are gone.
3 ★It would sure be nice if IKM took this product as seriously as the iOS or Windows versions. Especially after spending $100 on a proprietary interface and another $50 to get full functionality. It doesn't have but a fraction of the amps as the others, and the stomps are all generic. They're constantly adding new gear for the others (Like Mesa Boogie). Android hasn't had any updates in well over a year. My requests to support over future plans for this app have gone unanswered.
1 ★Installed app after purchase, the app didnt recognise that the dongle is connected to my phone, tried soo many ways to make sure that I wasn't used dead cables or had incompatibility issues. What happened is the build in demo songs can be heard, but no bass (instrument) at all. The app isnt helpful, not much help when you have issues other than asking you to buy an Irig UA.

1 ★I don't understand how I the irig recorder 3 works perfectly fine with my pixel 4xl but when I actually try to use amplitude it won't "connect". Makes no sense. Fix it please
5 ★More of a question here, what is the Micro-USB-OTG socket required for on Android devices? Insn't the iRig adapter enough just to play? Also canyou make this compatible with other iRig Interfaces?
3 ★I recently downloaded the Amplitude app. I had no previous knowlege of its needed hardware device. I did have an original iRig but wasnt aware it wasnt compatible with android, my mistake! After reading negative reviews, I'm surprised many wrote remarks about their experiences with iRig 2. It seems complaints have been addressed by the developer. The basic issue is trying to use an incompatible iRig2 instead of the iRig UA. Maybe iRig will send me an iRig UA to try for a fair evaluation. 👍😊
