4 ★Update! I got the black screen figured out. If you are switching between apps you must press the recent button on the left side of the screen and then tap on the sygic app for it to show up correctly, and not show a black screen. Sygic, I really like the 3D maps feature but there is a lot of bugs that we can discuss to make it BETTER and really compete with others. I'm gonna join the beta program if allowed as I used to have copilot Live 8 for laptops. It was the Best!
2 ★Made a mistake buying this and am actively seeking a replacement. On a trip from Michigan to Florida, this app detoured me three times onto local roads, only to put me right back on the same highway. Semi trucks were on the same road so there wasn't a height issue. Also, it will tell you that there is a turn ahead, but won't tell you the road name until you are less than half a mile away. This is useless.
2 ★We recently bought a truck and 35' travel trailer. I am new to driving an RV. The whole reason I bought the Sygic Truck/RV navigation package was because they advertise Sygic can be used via Android Auto. Apparently that is not true. The car version can be, but not the RV version. I have wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why it wouldn't come up as an app to add in Android Auto. I am mad that I bought a lifetime license and a subscription for real time traffic updates for nothing!
1 ★Don't purchase this. I used it about 5 times and very often the navigation has a delay to tell you when to go. So you have to look at the map all the time. If you don't follow the path in the app, it will take a long time to recalculate the route. So I requested for a refund after less than a month of usage, no response from a live representative. It was just an automated response about the message was receive and some issues and solution of the problems. I still got no response after a month.
5 ★I would be willing to pay a monthly fee to help keep the app growing. Good so far, Well it's still not that good, yet, voice instructions are okay, but wants to route you through secondary roads that are shorter, but lose more time taking those routes, time is money and 70 hours gets used up quickly with construction and city traffic. I will keep trying it as a back up.
5 ★Alright been using this app for a while. it works as advertised as long as you put in the right dimensions. some tweeking required, the setups are not based on US trucks. ex axle weights is for each axle not the group. Second the built in POIs are geared more for cars than trucks. There is vehicle specific that is supposed to make finding stops easier but that is still not good enough. I still use a trucking GPS or Trucker Path (app) to find stops along my route.
4 ★Putting in an address is like using an old standalone gps from the early '00s. It has a nice display format with all the useful info offline, etc. Never crashed, always worked. Seemed to select all truck-safe routes based on truck info, but often routed in less efficient ways than other permitted and safe ways to go. Tried when driving a rental truck once and used for two days and about 5 hours of driving. It served okay. Felt need to run a separate app on another device too though.
3 ★Everything was fine until the wanted me to get premium then my maps stopped working and everything else started to falling the part I couldn't navigate my way home and I had to resort to Google Maps instead which is not a safe alternative when you using big trucks. On top of all that it requires me to go to a completely different website rather than just use the Google pay option. And this day and age were people still your information I can't say that I trust the website that I was redirected to and therefore I'm not going to use this app anymore.
3 ★Not sure what it is I'm missing. I downloaded both the regulate map program and this one. I cannot get the truck maps to download. It warms about using WiFi but I'm not worried about that. There is no way I can find to ignore the WiFi preference. I have started and restarted the program several times to no avail.
3 ★I like most of the features. But however it always thinks im getting off of every exit along the way. Speed limits arent accurate all the time, but u can sugest an edit. Im not sure how often they do updates. I pit this against my r/m and its not horrible, however i dont know if i can completely depend on this. But not sure. This is a qualcom company so i cant emagine they cant afford to fix these issues.
4 ★I'm currently on a free 7 day trial, and it's OK so far. Just a couple of issues I need to iron out before I purchase a 12 month subscription. Firstly, I don't seem to be able to download the maps to a memory card. It's OK on my phone memory, because I have a large memory, but my tablet I'd like to run it from is only 32gb, and I've not much space left. Secondly, I have my phone Bluetoothed to a speaker. It works perfectly when I also have music playing, but when I don't, it won't connect.
4 ★Istanbul by bus is a total confusion. It's probably up to the maps... You can only get to Istanbul by ferry, not directly! And in reality this is not the case. We also tried different settings of the bus, but nothing. Navigation is excellent, In other countries the navigation worked perfectly but Istanbul... we got the impression that it is only possible to get there by car, since at one point it does not allow us to get any closer to the city.
