The Convention Junkie app was developed in order to provide con-goers with a way to keep track of conventions that they're interested in attending – both in and out of their area. One thing about conventions of all kinds is that at times it's hard to get access to the different locations and schedules without hopping between websites. Playing website tag to figure out exactly which conventions you’re attending during the season isn’t very fun.The Convention Junkie app will take the guesswork out of planning your convention destinations. We’ve included a calendar that lists all of the upcoming conventions in the country, along with the ability to search your area to see what’s happening near you! Here at our secret base, our team has combined over 30 years of convention experience, and we wanted to share our knowledge with those just starting out as super fans. So, we’ve included a blog that will give tips and tricks for both veteran attendees and newbies. You can connect with other geeks on our Fan Wall – by sharing photos or commenting – and see awesome new cosplay photos that are being shared from everywhere in the country. Also, since parking at conventions can get pretty confusing, we’ve included a GPS parking tracker. Simply pin where you’ve parked on the map, and you can find your car in a FLASH! We all know that conventions are the time to go out to dinner with friends you only see once a year, so to add even more awesome to this app, there is a tip calculator that will split the tip based on the total amount of your check and how many people in your party.
We’ll be running cosplay contests monthly, so make sure you’re watching for details!
