NOTE: If you haven't updated your ScreenLogic protocol adapter to version 736 yet (released Nov 2017), please download our update utility below (see Step 1) and apply it to your adapter:
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Doesn't always load from an Android. Different screens from Apple. Too unreliable.
3 ★How is it this app hasn't updated since September of 2018? I've read so many comments where people are having problems and not one person or tech has responded to their review. I'm not having any issues but someone needs to respond to the reviews with 1 or 2 stars.
1 ★Truly horrible on Android. It's not intuitive, and very difficult to navigate. Setting schedules should be so so much easier. At least if the status screen was more thorough I might have some confidence that what I'm doing remotely is actually having a real result at the pool. For example, is the heater actually on when I turn it on? No idea.
1 ★Totally unreliable. Works for weeks then just won't. Maybe hardware, but throws zero useful diagnostics.
3 ★We use Android & the app is completely different on iPhones, world's apart, doesn't even look like the same company designed the app. It's much more polished. Our pool guy has an iPhone, otherwise we wouldn't even know the app had differences. Cause you expect the app & the information it provides to be identical, right? But it isn't & it doesn't. For instance, you don't see alerts on Android, I have to walk out to the pool to find out if I have an issue. Plus it looks like something from the 90s on Android. Its uses are very basic. Super frustrating.
1 ★Horrible. Not all of the functions are working. I am no longer able to view the history (which really wasn't that great anyway), but I am no longer getting the salt level data on the chlorinator. I restarted the wifi. That didn't work. I reinstalled the app. That didn't work. The only functions that work are turning the filter pump on/off and turning on/off the lights. Very disappointed in this app.
2 ★App works fairly well. Does not always do what you expect. Some non intuitive aspects. For example the Summary/Circuits page shows a list of labeled buttons showing what is on and what's off. Seems nice to have all those controls on one page. If you click on one of the buttons it changes color to indicate that you have switched it on or off. But those buttons there don't control the item. You need to go the "Pool" or "Features" to turn on or off those things.
1 ★Stops working almost every time. Have to install and reinstall over and over. Very frustrating especially since we entertain
3 ★For the simple actions, this app works fine. For more complicated actions it falls short. The following things are missing: you cannot see the current power consumption of the pump, you cannot view or edit the egg timers or run once items. There may be others, but these are the big items for me. In addition the interaction with the historical graph is laughable. First it comes up showing yesterdays data, then when you try to swipe left to today's data, it constantly jumps back to yesterday. The pinch zoom function is even worse, it just jumps to what seems like random times. Then there is the scales. Half the time the labels on the axes do not have enough detail to figure out what data is being displayed. Second, even when the axis labels do have enough detail, the chosen increments are ludicrous. For Fahrenheit, a reasonable increment would be 5 or 10 degrees, not 3 or 4. Same for the date. A reasonable increment would be in nice round 10, 15, 30, 60 minute increments, not 8 or 12. I use the app to monitor my circuits and to control features, but that's about it.
4 ★Great app to monitor and turn on/off pumps. But only downside is that the local connection does not work consistently. Remote connection works flawlessly.
2 ★The Android app is not as polished compared to the Apple app. It would be nice if there were more functionality with the macros such as adding delays and creating sequences.
1 ★App feels like it was made in 2008. Very few control knobs.
