Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Works great, bit with minor nitpicks. The journey creator cannot be customised, it only works on single lines. For eg. if you take the train to another city loop station that isn't visited between it and Flinders St., it won't let you create that journey. But you could easily use a close-enough station so not a deal-breaker. I like the option to only receive notifications on weekdays.
2 ★Works as expected in the morning but never for the return journey
4 ★Once you set aside frustration with the metro service itself, the app is solid, with noticeable improvements in accuracy and speed—about 90% reliable (in my experience). One feature I’d like is more granular notifications, allowing users to choose specific days and hours for each line. For example, I need updates only on my two office days, commuting on two lines. I’d prefer notifications at 6am, 7am, 4pm, and 5pm, rather than broad windows for all weekdays.
2 ★Pretty cruddy interface...
1 ★Trying to set Southern Cross to Hurstbridge but it shows service FROM Hurstbridge and not from Southern Cross. Useless trip setup
2 ★It would be a very beneficial app if it worked correctly. The train timings are incorrect. Always miss my train due to incorrect information provided. Please provide accurate train timings.
3 ★Its ok, but has a major floor - for a trip on Cranbourne line to Southern Cross, when toggling trip it does not show any departures from Southern Cross. A workaround is to select Flnders st as the destination, but this is not ideal
1 ★Useless app. Will ping you updates when you don't even have the day or travel period set. I work a 9-5, mon-fri. I've set notifications in this app as such. Why on earth would I give a damn about my work travel paths garbage line service during the weekend? Get some realistic people on this project because your current developers lack vision and common sense. This app is only good for spam notifications. If you don't want that, I suggest checking the metro twitter page each time you travel
5 ★A really good app. Much better than PTV app for simplicity.
4 ★Works a treat, but I do wish I had more control over the notification schedules. I end up getting notifications well over an hour before I leave work in the evenings because I can't select a later time.
