Description

Only use this app if you have the Dexcom G6 CGM System.

Always know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System – approved for diabetes treatment decisions with zero fingersticks* and no calibration.

*If your glucose alerts and readings from the G6 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.

With Dexcom G6, always know your glucose number with just a quick glance at your compatible smartphone or smartwatch. For a list of compatible devices visit www.dexcom.com/compatibility. Dexcom G6 provides real-time glucose readings as frequently as every five minutes. Dexcom G6 is approved for children age 2 and older.

The Dexcom G6 System provides personalized trend alerts right on your smart device and lets you see when your glucose levels are going too low, or too high, so you can better manage your diabetes. The Alert Schedule feature lets you schedule and customize a second set of alerts. Custom alert sounds are available, including a Vibrate-Only option on the phone for glucose alerts. The only exception is the Urgent Low Alarm, which you can’t turn off.

The Always Sound setting allows you to receive certain Dexcom CGM Alerts even if your phone sound is off, set to vibrate, or in Do Not Disturb mode. This will allow you to silence calls or texts but still receive audible CGM Alerts, including Low and High Glucose alert, Urgent Low Soon Alert, Urgent Low Alarm, and Rise and Fall Rate alerts. Always Sound is on by default. A Home screen icon shows you if your Alerts will sound or not. For safety, the Urgent Low Alarm and these alerts can’t be silenced: Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped.

In addition to the accurate performance provided by the Dexcom Sensor, you’ll receive other valuable features:

• Share your glucose data with your followers who can monitor your glucose data and trends on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow app. Share and Follow functions require an internet connection.

• Quick Glance allows you to view your glucose data on the lock screen of your smart device
• A Dexcom Clarity link on the landscape trend graph lets you easily transition to the Clarity App to view more information on your glucose trends

Wear OS Integration

• Activate the Dexcom G6 watch face to quickly access your glucose information and trend graph right from your wrist
• You can view glucose alerts and alarms from your Wear OS watch

The Dexcom G6 Android App is compatible with select Android devices only. Visit Dexcom.com/compatibility for more information.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Doesn't connect to the transmitter. Doesn't even deserve 1 star
3 ★I started to use this app today (will have to figure out how to move over to the mmol/L version, I must've been blind when picking the mg/dL variety). The UI: quite sleek, maybe even wasteful with screen space. So much whitespace for value-with-trend-idicator and a graph? Very Nice: the Quick Glance However, the whole thing is a bit, incomplete - even immature, I daresay, as if it were hastily composed with some UI toolkit. Suggestion1: Leave the event log book at the bottom of the main screen, but show the "Add Event" button to the home screen also. Saves two taps. Suggestion2: "Events view". That is supposed to be a log book, right? Way too much whitespace wasted on screen. Things/entries that fit onto one line should use not much more than one line. Suggestion3: Settings -> Alert configuration. In the Alerts overview, not only show the alarm category and its status (on/off) and/or threshold (xx mg/dL), but also the given sound setting. That saves quite a few clicks when trying to get an overview of what alerts to expect. Suggestion4a): Alert Schedule: might better be organized completely differently: by "Alerting Profiles". Let the user define multiple Alert Profiles (allowing to copy/clone existing ones!): one for Office/Workplace, one for Theatre, one for Meeting, one for Home, one for Night, one for Outdoor activity... Then let the the user define the (weekly) schedule based on their profiles. Suggestion 4b): Ad-hoc Profile override, time-limited. At any given time, the user should be able to activate one of the profiles (e.g. "Meeting") for a selectable amount of time. After that time expires, return to the given scheduled profile. Suggestion 4c): Alert Schedules - why would I need three screens to set begin time, end time and weekdays? All that nicely fits on one half screen; two time selectors and ha pack of checkboxes will do nicely. Suggestion5a): (for Wear OS, currenty on a Fossil Gen5): a simple watch face is not enough. By forcing it as the only option, the watch loses customizealbility and is less useful - reduced to a remote display. Recent WearOS versions have "Tiles" you can scroll through (like there are for heart rate, exercise, weather, calender...), please offer the remote display also as such a Tile. Please also consider supporting a watch face widget which watch face designers can integrate, so the current BG can be shown discreetely in the main watch face. Suggestion5b): (for Wear OS) Alerting: Allow ad-hoc profile override from the watch. So much for now. I'll be back with more over time.
1 ★After much frustration we found that this version of the app will not connect to the transmitters. I then found the app called Dexcom G6 still in my app library, so I uninstalled this version and installed what I think is the older version. It paired with the transmitter, and seems to be working fine.
4 ★There may be a bug with this app. In all my clarity reports, there are 2 1 hour long gaps every day. The actual time is different between days. The actual data is on the app, so it's not missing, it just doesn't get uploaded. Never had any issue with the G5 app. Update: the new version fixes this issue.
1 ★Can't install the app
5 ★Good software
4 ★Perfect
5 ★It's ok
