The Dexcom Follow app is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system.Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.

1 ★Never compatible with my phone no matter what phone I have had a T-Mobile phone wasn't compatible now I got a Motorola phone guess what not compatible
5 ★I don't understand all the negative reviews. I set it up in December 2024 and waited until now to write a review just to be sure. The app lost connectivity just ONCE in 2 months for about an hour or so. It's very handy so I can easily view if my loved one is in any trouble. Pixel 7 Android 15 & wife's phone is Pixel 9. No issues on either phone or app.
4 ★App works pretty much as intended but for some reason I cannot add my son's picture to it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and I've already went into the app permissions in my phones settings and there isn't even an option to allow the app to access my storage. Not sure why that is. Also the Follow app is updated and so is my phone so I don't understand what's going on with that feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 ★I wrote a review in 2024 regarding how I never could see my sons data. Im fed up. I went almost a week not seeing his data! Finally reconnected yesterday and again today no data! I always lose data 48 hrs or longer before his pod would expire now I'm just not getting data randomly too! We reset our phones and everything. For how expensive this medical equipment is I would think it would be more reliable. How am I suppose to make sure my son isn't dropping in the middle of the night! It's junk!
1 ★Zero reason for this app to end up using tens of gigabytes of storage from just a couple months. You can't even look at all that old data, but it's on your phone until you uninstall or delete user files and then go through the stupid process of resharing again. I searched and found lots of others complaining about this for a long time now.
1 ★I'm very disappointed with this app. "No Data" is all it ever showed after the first 2 days. I worry about my mom, and I thought this was going to help us keep track of her diabetes. Why hasn't this problem been fixed? Is there another app I can use with the Dexcom G7?
1 ★The Dexcom app is absolute garbage. It is completely unreliable. My wife has invited me to follow her a dozen times. It'll work long enough for me to forget about it (I'm only worried about alerts) and then it'll stop following her. The Freestyle Libre was leaps and bounds better, but we were forced to switch because our insurance no longer covered the Libre. Cue the automatic response that says they want to SOUND helpful without actually reading the issues and fixing them...

2 ★Why does this app consume so much storage? What could it possibly need to retain 2GB+ of data on my device for?
3 ★This app needs alot of work it doesn't work even as close to what G6 and g7 does. Me my bf and my mother are on it and we can't see my sons blood sugar about half the day on and off and we dont all get alerts for lows or no data. This app is a must need to keep close watch for my 3 year old with t1d please fix the issues and treat the user's like we matter when it comes to keeping track of our loved ones blood sugars!
