Med økonomisk støtte fra Miljøstyrelsen har SEGES udviklet en app, som har til formål at hjælpe landmanden med at identificere skadevoldere ude i marken og læse om IPM (integreret plantebeskyttelse). At kende skadevolderne er en vigtig del af IPM.App’en fungerer uden netadgang og består af tre dele: nøgler til bestemmelse af skadevoldere, søgning på en bestemt skadevolder og de otte grundprincipper for IPM. Nøglen fungerer ved at vælge muligheder til og fra for nogle udvalgte kendetegn for skadevolderen. Derved er det op til brugeren selv at vælge, hvilke kendetegn han er mest sikker i. Det er derefter muligt at læse mere om skadevolderens biologi og kendetegn samt gennemse et billedarkiv.
