4 ★I love Dropout. They make a ton of really funny stuff and it is pretty cheap. My favorite shows are Dimension 20, Total Forgiveness and Game Changer. My only issues are that e sometimes I'll get a message that says my "session timed out" and to log in again. It remembers my info so it's not that big a deal, just a minor annoyance. Also, might cool if the picture-in-picture worked within the app so I could watch shows and browse at the same time. That said, Dropout is totally worth paying for.
5 ★I have never had a better user experience than I have with this app. I can play videos in the bg while using other apps, play videos with the screen locked, download videos to play offline, and many other features that I have wished or have to pay extra for in other apps, dropout delivers. Not to mention the high quality and abudant content available through the app. Subscription is also extremely affordable compared to other streaming services. 10/10 worth it
5 ★Amazing content, easy to use. If I had one complaint it's that episode progress doesn't always sync between versions of the app. Ie. If I'm watching on Chrome cast and switch to my phone I will have to find my place manually.
4 ★Good content, very enjoyable. The app itself is a little awkward at times (ie it plays if it was full sized and you turn off the screen, but if it gets minimized it will stop playing.)
4 ★The college humor writers were at the top of their game when the company went under. If Dropout is how I can support them, then I will use it. I did take a star off because the app doesn't let you search videos easily while watching a video, and there is no option for background play. This is why I watch Dimension 20 on YouTube Premium, and Dimension 20 is the reason I got YouTube premium. I'd rather just pay for Dropout and not YouTube Premium.
5 ★The care of everything put out by dropout is beautiful. Some of it is a little rough around the edges (mostly sound and mic stuff, but it's NBD) but everything the do makes me happy. Super pumped to support the work they do! Wish they would add a feature saying where I last was in a video (D20 EPs are 2 hrs long, I gotta sleep sometime!)
5 ★The app works great! I love all the original content and the audio still works when I turn my screen off so I can listen to Adventuring Party when I am doing other things. What more can one ask for?
5 ★I wanted to try it out for a bit to see what was going on. I was completely surprised by the amount of content on the platform, and the amount of new content being released. Not only that, but it's probably the only streaming service out there for me where I want to watch everything on there. Overall, worth the price and I certainly don't regret it. 5/5
2 ★The content is top notch. 5 stars really. The app itself is the only reason I rate 2 stars. Being able to play sound with the screen off is good but Bluetooth controls are non existent and it should pause when disconnected. The popout window does not scale well. The progress bar along the bottom of screen is too close to the bottom and a few stability issues.
4 ★This app definitely has some flaws, but it's worth it. My experience with customer service has been good, albeit slightly slow. I don't mind, though, the content is amazing and I know that Collegehumor is having a hard time right now. If you download this app, though, just restart your phone when the app malfunctions! It will go away, it's a problem of the way that the device and the app communicate, so if your phone hasn't restarted in a while it could cause problems with the app. Love this!
2 ★Update: The app still works pretty poorly. It doesn't have Bluetooth compatability, meaning that you can't pause or play from your headphones. It also gives you the option to download videos, but sometimes acts like the video isn't downloaded until the next time you connect to the internet, even if it's in your "Offline" tab. It also takes forever to even download videos on wifi. Like minutes at a time. This app is still really buggy, and needs a lot of work.
4 ★My 4 stars are on content alone, the app itself could use some work. -play/pause doesn't work from headphones or any other method outside of tapping it on screen -autoplay doesn't work if you're just listening with background audio -audio stops if you're not in the app when your phone screen turns off -no background downloads The app is good if you're looking to binge watch on your phone or cast to a tv with a chromecast. That being said it doesn't seem to work with amazon Firestick or roku.
